MEO Portugal SIM card: Enjoy, MOCHE and M Móvel prepaid options
MEO's online shop sells prepaid SIMs and eSIMs from 2.50 euros, including a 10 euro Enjoy card for 15, 20 or 35 days of data.
Is a MEO Portugal SIM card a good choice for a visitor?
Yes, for a stay of a couple of weeks or more, and it has the easiest shape to understand: a prepaid card with a fixed number of days. MEO's online shop lists each prepaid card in a physical SIM and an eSIM version, with no contract or loyalty. We read the MEO prepaid shop on 8 October 2026 and report only what it shows.
What MEO prepaid cards can a visitor buy?
- Enjoy, all traffic included: 10 euros, with a choice of 15, 20 or 35 days with all data included. This is the shape that fits a holiday. It is sold as a SIM and as an eSIM.
- MOCHE 200 GB: 9.90 euros, 200 GB per month, SIM or eSIM.
- M Móvel 50 GB: 10 euros, with calls and texts. The listing text says 70 GB, which conflicts with the 50 GB title, so confirm.
- M Móvel Livre: 2.50 euros, calls and texts at the same price on all networks, with a bonus on the first three top-ups.
- eSIM for North America: 15 euros, for the US, Canada and Mexico.
The page does not state validity for the other cards, 5G support or any ID requirement, so we cannot say what a visitor must show. It lists several delivery options and free delivery, and says returns are by mail or in store, but it does not name pickup shops or airport counters.
Does MEO say anything about coverage and MEO 5G?
Not on the shop page. We have no MEO coverage or 5G statement to quote. Our network notes call MEO strong for rural areas, but we did not verify that on MEO's site. For roaming, we did not read current prepaid terms, so we cannot say how the Enjoy or MOCHE cards behave outside Portugal.
Do the MEO name and Altice link up?
Our notes label the carrier "MEO (Altice Portugal)". The shop page we read does not mention Altice, so we do not rely on that from MEO's own site.
MEO prepaid versus a travel eSIM
An MEO eSIM bought online is close to a travel eSIM in convenience, and it gives you a local network brand. A travel eSIM, though, can be priced and bundled for a short trip; compare on the cheapest eSIM page. Other Portuguese networks are on the NOS, Vodafone Portugal and Digi Portugal pages. Our Portugal SIM card comparison lays out the options, where to buy a SIM card in Portugal covers shops and airports, and the Portugal hub has the rest. Travel eSIM prices are on the cheapest eSIM page.
