Ukraine's cheapest verified eSIM rate is $0.98 a gigabyte, and the ladder runs the full way to 50 GB
Airalo's 50 GB Ukraine plan is $49, or $0.98 a gigabyte; its 1 GB plan works out at $4.00. Eighteen prices, all read off the checkout on 17 August 2026. Prices are all this page holds.
One seller, eighteen prices, one date
We hold plan data for exactly one eSIM provider in Ukraine: Airalo. Eighteen plans — twelve metered, six unlimited — all eighteen verified, read off airalo.com on 17 August 2026. Saily, Holafly, Nomad, eSIMCard and eSIM Go also sell travel eSIMs; we have not priced any of them for Ukraine, so no figure appears against their names below.
Airalo lists its Ukrainian plans under the name Lavranet. That is Airalo's own retail product label rather than a carrier. Airalo publishes no host network for Ukraine, and publishes none for any other country either, so which operator carries the traffic is not something we know.
What this page is, and what it is not
This is a price record and nothing else. It reports what one company was charging for a Ukrainian eSIM on 17 August 2026, and that is the entire extent of what we hold.
We have no information about network conditions in Ukraine, and nothing here should be read as a statement about them in either direction. This page offers no advice about travel, coverage, infrastructure or safety, because we hold none and a price list is not evidence of any of it. If that is what you came for, this is not the site that has it.
The metered ladder
| Data | Days | Price | Per GB |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 GB | 3 | $4 | $4 |
| 3 GB | 3 | $7.50 | $2.50 |
| 3 GB | 7 | $8 | $2.67 |
| 5 GB | 7 | $10 | $2 |
| 5 GB | 15 | $10.50 | $2.10 |
| 5 GB | 30 | $11 | $2.20 |
| 10 GB | 7 | $17 | $1.70 |
| 10 GB | 15 | $17.50 | $1.75 |
| 10 GB | 30 | $18 | $1.80 |
| 20 GB | 15 | $26.50 | $1.33 |
| 20 GB | 30 | $27 | $1.35 |
| 50 GB | 30 | $49 | $0.98 |
Twelve metered rows, and the small plans are less punishing than usual: 3 GB over three days at $7.50 is $2.50 a gigabyte, a rate several countries in this region do not reach at any size.
The 50 GB plan and the $0.98 band
$49 for 50 GB over 30 days is $0.98 a gigabyte, and it is the cheapest rate we hold for Ukraine by a clear margin — the next rung down, 20 GB over 15 days at $26.50, is $1.33.
That $49 figure is not specific to Ukraine. The identical 50 GB plan at the identical price appears in eighteen countries in our data, among them Georgia, Kazakhstan, Estonia, Mongolia and Macau. It reads as a price band applied across a group of markets rather than anything local: what it tells you is that Ukraine is in the band that has a 50 GB rung at all, which is what decides a floor.
Unlimited, and one exact collision
Airalo also lists six unlimited plans here, priced by duration: $12.50 for 3 days, $20.50 for 5, $29.50 for 7, $35 for 10, $49 for 15 and $72.50 for 30.
The number to notice is that $49: exactly what the 50 GB metered plan costs, except that the metered plan runs for 30 days and the unlimited one for 15. Unless you expect to move more than 50 GB in a fortnight, the metered plan is twice the window for the same money.
Lower down, the 3-day unlimited at $12.50 sits between 5 GB over seven days at $10 and 10 GB at $17. From a week upwards the metered ladder pulls ahead: $29.50 for 7 days of unlimited against $17 for 10 GB.
The regional comparison, and why it lands where it does
Five neighbouring markets were read on the same day, and the pattern is the clearest thing in this batch: where a ladder reaches 50 GB, the floor lands near a dollar; where it stops at 20 GB, it sits between $1.575 and $2.40.
| Plan | Ukraine | Uzbekistan | Georgia | Armenia | Azerbaijan |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 GB / 7 days | $17 | $20 | $27 | $38 | $34 |
| 20 GB / 30 days | $27 | $33 | $36.50 | $49 | $49 |
| 50 GB / 30 days | $49 | not sold | $49 | not sold | not sold |
Ukraine is the cheapest of the five at every size below 50 GB — $17 against $38 for 10 GB over a week is less than half — and draws level with Georgia at exactly $49 at the top. Armenia and Azerbaijan floor at $2.40 and Uzbekistan at $1.575, for the single reason that none of the three sells anything above 20 GB.
For scale, the cheapest verified rate on this site is $0.55 a gigabyte in Thailand and Austria is $0.58; Ukraine's $0.98 is mid-table across the 94 countries we hold.
Which plan gives the most data for the money
Read as pure arithmetic:
- Under 5 GB. 3 GB over three days at $7.50, at $2.50 a gigabyte. The 1 GB plan at $4 is the worst value on the list.
- Around 10 GB. 10 GB over seven days at $17. The 30-day version is $18, so a longer window costs a dollar.
- 20 GB. $26.50 over 15 days, or $27 over 30 — the extra fortnight is 50 cents.
- The lowest rate available. 50 GB over 30 days at $49, the only Ukrainian plan we hold under a dollar a gigabyte.
What this page does not tell you
We hold no local SIM data for Ukraine: no prices, no registration rules, no operator names. We have not researched it, and we are not going to fill the gap with guesses.
We hold nothing for the other five eSIM sellers here either. If one of them beats $0.98 a gigabyte in Ukraine we would not know, and neither would a page that lists all six with figures nobody read. That distinction is the whole of how we test. Our Airalo page covers what the company is like to buy from across every country we hold, and the cheapest eSIM plans puts Ukraine's $0.98 next to every other rate on the site.
Common questions
Which eSIM is cheapest in Ukraine?
We can only answer for Airalo, the one provider whose Ukrainian prices anyone here has read. Its lowest rate is 50 GB over 30 days at $49, which is $0.98 a gigabyte. Saily, Holafly, Nomad, eSIMCard and eSIM Go are not priced here yet, so we cannot tell you whether one of them is cheaper.
Which Ukrainian network does an Airalo eSIM use?
We do not know, and Airalo does not say. It publishes no host network for Ukraine or for any other country. Lavranet, the name on the listing, is Airalo's own product label rather than an operator. We hold no information about network conditions in Ukraine and this page makes no claims about them.
Is the unlimited plan better value than the 50 GB plan?
Only if you expect to move more than 50 GB inside a fortnight. The 15-day unlimited plan and the 50 GB metered plan are both $49, but the metered one runs for 30 days rather than 15. For most patterns of use the metered plan is twice the window for the same money.
Why is Ukraine cheaper than Armenia or Azerbaijan?
It is cheaper at every size we can compare, and the gap is widest at the floor because Ukraine has a 50 GB plan and they do not. 10 GB over seven days is $17 in Ukraine, $38 in Armenia and $34 in Azerbaijan; 20 GB over 30 days is $27 against $49 in both. The Ukrainian floor is $0.98 a gigabyte, theirs is $2.40.
