eSIM Honduras prices: the floor is $1.90 a gigabyte, and it sits at 20 GB
Seventeen Airalo plans read off airalo.com on 8 October 2026. The rate runs from $1.90 a gigabyte at 20 GB to $4.50 at 1 GB, and nothing in our data goes above 20 GB capped.
What does an eSIM Honduras plan cost?
All the figures here come from Airalo, and only from Airalo. We have priced Airalo only for Honduras. We have not priced Saily, Holafly, Nomad, eSIMCard or eSIM Go here, so this is one seller's list, not a survey of the market and not a claim about the best eSIM across sellers. This is the eSIM Honduras list: seventeen plans, read off airalo.com on 8 October 2026 and priced in US dollars. Airalo's Honduras plans carry the retail name Honnet; that is Airalo's own label, not a mobile network.
The cheapest gigabyte is $1.90, from the 20 GB plan over 15 days at $38. The dearest is $4.50, from the 1 GB plan over 3 days. That is a 2.4-fold spread inside one list. For anyone shopping for a cheap eSIM for Honduras data, the lesson is that the rate falls steadily with size and levels off from 10 GB upward.
The whole eSIM Honduras price list
Verified 8 October 2026. Eleven capped plans and six uncapped ones.
| Plan | Price | Per GB |
|---|---|---|
| 1 GB / 3 days | $4.50 | $4.50 |
| 3 GB / 3 days | $9 | $3 |
| 3 GB / 7 days | $9.50 | $3.17 |
| 5 GB / 7 days | $12 | $2.40 |
| 5 GB / 15 days | $12.50 | $2.50 |
| 5 GB / 30 days | $13 | $2.60 |
| 10 GB / 7 days | $19.50 | $1.95 |
| 10 GB / 15 days | $20 | $2 |
| 10 GB / 30 days | $21 | $2.10 |
| 20 GB / 15 days | $38 | $1.90 |
| 20 GB / 30 days | $39 | $1.95 |
Uncapped plans: $19.50 for 3 days, $28.50 for 5 days, $36 for 7 days, $38 for 10 days, $49 for 15 days, $99 for 30 days. The most expensive plan we hold for Honduras is the 30-day uncapped one at $99, which is hard to justify against $39 for 20 GB over the same month.
Which size should I buy?
The sizes cluster. Every 10 GB plan lands between $1.95 and $2.10 a gigabyte, and both 20 GB plans between $1.90 and $1.95. Below that, 5 GB sits at $2.40 to $2.60 and 3 GB at $3 to $3.17. The step from 5 GB over 7 days ($12) to 10 GB over 7 days ($19.50) costs $7.50 and doubles the data, so for anyone using more than a few gigabytes this is the move that matters.
Duration is almost free to change. In the 10 GB band the 7, 15 and 30 day plans cost $19.50, $20 and $21. At 20 GB, 15 days is $38 and 30 days is $39. So buy the window that covers your trip with a few days to spare; it will barely move the price.
A weekend or short stop. 3 GB over 3 days at $9, or 1 GB at $4.50 if you only need maps and messages.
A week. 10 GB over 7 days at $19.50.
Two weeks or a month. 20 GB over 15 days at $38, or 20 GB over 30 days at $39 if you want the extra time. Neither range goes above 20 GB in our data.
Is an eSIM Honduras plan worth it, or should I buy a local SIM?
A Honduras eSIM lets you arrive with data already working, which matters if you land late or are heading straight out of a city. A local prepaid SIM from a Honduran carrier will usually cost less per gigabyte, but we have not priced one, so we cannot give you a number.
What we can say from public reporting is that Honduran authorities have been tightening identity checks on SIM sales. El Heraldo reports that the regulator CONATEL moved to require biometric registration before chips are bought and activated; we could not confirm from that article the year it took effect or exactly how it applies to foreign visitors, so ask a staffed shop before counting on a quick purchase. An eSIM bought online avoids that counter, though we do not know whether Airalo's Honduras plans have any registration step of their own, and its page does not say.
What to know before you buy
Check your phone supports eSIM and is unlocked. Install the profile on Wi-Fi before you fly. Airalo publishes no host network in our data for Honduras: the network field is empty on every plan. We cannot name the carrier behind these plans and will not infer one from the product name.
We have not tested these plans on a phone in Honduras; this is desk research from Airalo's public listings. We have not researched local SIM prices or coverage outside cities.
For how this compares with other sellers and countries, see Airalo, the cheapest eSIM plans, the provider comparison, the Latin America guide and how we test.
Common questions
What is the cheapest eSIM Honduras plan?
Among the seventeen Airalo plans we verified on 8 October 2026, the cheapest per gigabyte is the 20 GB plan over 15 days at $38, which works out at $1.90 a gigabyte. We have not priced any other seller in Honduras, so this is the floor of one list only.
How much is a Honduras data plan for one week?
Airalo's 10 GB plan over 7 days costs $19.50, or $1.95 a gigabyte, and its 5 GB week costs $12. A 1 GB plan lasting 3 days is $4.50. Prices were read on 8 October 2026 and can change, so check the checkout before paying.
Does Airalo sell an unlimited eSIM for Honduras?
Yes, in six durations: $19.50 for 3 days, $28.50 for 5, $36 for 7, $38 for 10, $49 for 15 and $99 for 30. For a month, the 20 GB plan at $39 is far cheaper unless you really need uncapped data.
Is there a plan bigger than 20 GB for Honduras?
Not in our data. The largest capped Airalo plan we hold for Honduras is 20 GB, and the cheapest rate in the country sits there at $1.90 a gigabyte over 15 days. The only way to get more data is the uncapped range.
Do I need my passport to get a Honduras travel SIM?
Press reports say Honduras requires identity registration, including biometric checks, for physical SIMs. We could not confirm the details for foreign visitors or whether an eSIM has a step of its own, so ask the carrier or Airalo before you travel.
