eSIM Monaco: Monaco has a $0.70 gigabyte, but only if you buy 50 GB for a month

18 Airalo plans read off airalo.com on 8 October 2026. The rate runs from $0.70 a gigabyte for 50 GB over 30 days to $4.00 for 1 GB over 3 days.

What does eSIM Monaco cost on Airalo?

All the figures for eSIM Monaco here come from Airalo, and only from Airalo. We hold eighteen Monaco plans, each read off airalo.com on 8 October 2026. We have priced only Airalo for Monaco; we have not priced Saily, Holafly, Nomad, eSIMCard or eSIM Go here, so this eSIM Monaco list is one company's price list, not a survey of the market, and it cannot tell you the best eSIM for Monaco across sellers.

The cheapest gigabyte is $0.70, from the 50 GB plan over 30 days at $35. The dearest is $4, from the 1 GB plan over 3 days at $4. That is a 5.7-fold spread inside one seller's list. For other countries and sellers see the cheapest eSIM plans and how the providers compare.

Which size should you buy?

The 50 GB plan is $35 for 30 days. The 20 GB plan over 30 days is $26, so another 30 GB costs $9. Unlimited plans are dearer than they look: 30 days is $65, $30 above the 50 GB plan. At the bottom, the 1 GB plan at $4 is roughly 6 times the floor.

For a short trip with light use, the 1 GB plan at $4 over 3 days is the entry point, but at $4 a gigabyte it is among the worst rates here. If you will use real data for maps, messages and photos, the 50 GB range starts at $35 (30 days).

What to know before you buy a Monaco data plan

An eSIM Monaco purchase is only part of the picture. Monaco Telecom's homepage, as we read it, does not describe eSIM or visitor SIMs. It does link a Travel Pass under its mobile deals menu without explaining it, so we say nothing about what it includes. A reseller guide says Monaco is outside EU roaming rules, that some home carriers bill Monaco Telecom as international roaming, and that a phone near the French border can attach to a Monaco network without you noticing. That is one seller's warning, not a verified rule, but check your home plan before a day trip from Nice. Airalo publishes no host network for its Monaco plans.

We have not tested these plans on a phone; this is desk research from public sources, and the data tells you what Airalo charges, not how fast or reliable a Monaco travel SIM will be in practice.

Is a cheap eSIM for Monaco worth it versus roaming or a local SIM?

We have not priced roaming from any home carrier, and we have not priced local SIMs for Monaco, so we cannot give you a verified saving. What the data supports is narrower: an eSIM can be installed before you leave and avoids a counter queue on arrival, and the price you will pay is on this page. Check your own carrier's daily roaming charge against the plan you are considering; whether a Monaco travel SIM from Airalo beats it depends on that figure, and we do not have it. Common questions

What is the cheapest eSIM for Monaco?

On Airalo, the 50 GB plan over 30 days at $35, or $0.70 a gigabyte, the lowest rate across the 18 plans we verified on 8 October 2026. We hold no prices for any other seller in Monaco, so this is the cheapest we have seen, not the cheapest that exists.

How much does eSIM Monaco cost for one week?

Our data holds these 7-day plans: 3 GB at $7.50, 5 GB at $10, 10 GB at $17. The 7-day unlimited plan is $25. All are Airalo prices verified on 8 October 2026. The cheapest week-long rate per gigabyte is the largest of those plans.

Does Airalo say which network its Monaco eSIM uses?

No. Airalo publishes no host network for its Monaco plans, and the network field in our data is empty for all 18 rows. Travel guides name local operators, but we could not confirm which one carries these plans, so we do not name one. Check the Airalo plan page before you buy if the network matters to you.

Is there an unlimited eSIM for Monaco?

Yes, on Airalo. Unlimited plans run $11 for 3 days, $17 for 5 days, $25 for 7 days, $33 for 10 days, $45 for 15 days, $65 for 30 days, verified 8 October 2026. They cost far more than metered plans of a similar length, so work out your likely usage first. We have not tested how any unlimited plan behaves after heavy use, and Airalo's fair-use terms are on its plan page.
