eSIM Cameroon: nine Airalo plans, topping out at 10 GB

Nine Airalo plans read off airalo.com on 8 October 2026. The best rate is $3.20 a gigabyte for 10 GB over 7 days, and there is no plan above 10 GB and no uncapped plan.

What does an eSIM Cameroon plan cost?

All the figures here come from Airalo, and only from Airalo. Nine plans, each read off airalo.com on 8 October 2026, in US dollars. We have priced no other seller for Cameroon: not Saily, Holafly, Nomad, eSIMCard or eSIM Go. Treat this as one company's price list rather than a survey of the market. This page is desk research from public sources; we did not install or test any of these plans. All nine are metered, and none is larger than 10 GB.

The cheapest gigabyte is $3.20, from 10 GB over 7 days at $32. The dearest is $5.50, from 1 GB over 3 days. The spread is 1.7-fold. Every plan carries the product name Kamtok Telecom, and our data gives no host network.

Which size should you buy?

The jump from 5 GB to 10 GB over 7 days costs $12 ($20 to $32) and doubles the data. Length hardly matters: the 10 GB plan is $32 for 7 days, $33 for 15 and $34 for 30. The month costs $2 more than the week.

The 1 GB plan at $5.50 is the worst rate on the list. The 3 GB plan over 3 days is $13, or $4.33 a gigabyte.

What the thin list does and does not tell you

It tells you that on 8 October 2026 a heavy user could buy no more than 10 GB in one go from Airalo for Cameroon, and could not buy an uncapped plan. It does not tell you whether another seller sells more or sells it for less. We have not priced one. Do not read $3.20 as a market-wide floor.

Local SIM and registration: what we found

Our search turned up news reports from 2019 about Cameroon's regulator fining the three largest mobile operators over weak subscriber identification, and a 2015 rule capping SIMs per person per operator. We did not read those in full, we could not find a current regulator or operator page, and we cannot tell you today's rules. If you want a local SIM, expect to be asked to register, and check the operator directly.

If you are shopping for a cheap eSIM for Cameroon, start with the rate per gigabyte rather than the headline price. A Cameroon eSIM is only good value once you know how much data you will use, and a Cameroon travel SIM from any seller should be compared on the same terms. Think of this as one Cameroon data plan list to check against others, not the last word.

For the seller across every country we hold, see our Airalo page. For how this rate compares with the rest of the site, see the cheapest eSIM plans and the provider comparison, and for the wider region see the Africa guide.

Common questions

Which eSIM Cameroon plan is the cheapest?

The 10 GB plan over 7 days at $32, which is $3.20 a gigabyte, from Airalo's Kamtok Telecom range. It is the lowest rate among the nine plans we verified on 8 October 2026. We hold no prices for other sellers, so we cannot call it the cheapest overall.

Is there an unlimited eSIM for Cameroon?

Not in our Airalo data. All nine plans are metered, in sizes of 1 GB, 3 GB, 5 GB and 10 GB, and none is larger than 10 GB. A heavy user would need to buy a second plan or rely on wifi.

Is the 30-day Cameroon plan worth it over the 7-day?

Often yes. The 10 GB plan is $32 for 7 days, $33 for 15 days and $34 for 30. The month costs $2 more than the week, so it is a cheap safety margin if your travel dates might change. These are Airalo prices only, read on 8 October 2026.

Do I have to register a SIM in Cameroon?

Reports we found say operators are required to identify subscribers, but those reports date from 2015 to 2019 and we could not find a current official page. Ask the operator for today's rules. A travel eSIM from Airalo is a separate product and we have not read its registration terms.
