Namibia has only two Airalo eSIM plans, both for three days

Two Airalo plans read off airalo.com on 8 October 2026: 1 GB at $9.50 and 3 GB at $28. One seller only.

What does an eSIM Namibia plan cost?

Every price on this page comes from Airalo, and only from Airalo. We hold 2 Namibia plans, each read off airalo.com on 8 October 2026. We have not priced Saily, Holafly, Nomad, eSIMCard or eSIM Go for Namibia, so this is one seller's list, not a ranking of the market, and we make no claim about the best option across sellers. A Namibia eSIM works as a Namibia travel SIM that you install before you fly, so it is worth checking the Namibia data plan prices below against roaming. Only two plans exist in our data, so the page is short.

The two Airalo plans are both 3 days long, under the product name Nama. 1 GB costs $9.50, a rate of $9.50 a gigabyte. 3 GB costs $28, a rate of $9.50 a gigabyte. The cheaper rate, $9.33, belongs to the 3 GB plan by a hair, a difference of only 17 cents a gigabyte.

The whole Namibia eSIM price list

Verified 8 October 2026.

PlanPricePer GB
1 GB / 3 days$9.50$9.50
3 GB / 3 days$28$9.33

There is no plan longer than 3 days, no plan above 3 GB, and no uncapped option.

What do two plans tell a traveller?

Less than a normal list. Namibia trips run long, because the distances do, yet the longest window here is three days. Anyone staying a week would have to buy several plans or look beyond Airalo. At $28, the 3 GB plan costs about three times the 1 GB one for three times the data, so it is no discount.

What else is known?

The Namibian reported on 24 September 2025 that MTC launched eSIMs for local users, having previously used them mainly for outbound travellers. That is about MTC's own service for customers, not a visitor product, and we could not confirm a visitor eSIM from MTC or TN Mobile from an official page. We have not priced local SIMs.

What we do not know

Airalo publishes no host network for these plans, and we have not tested them. Coverage away from towns is untested by us. Namibia's long distances and thin coverage outside towns are reasons to check Airalo's page for the latest coverage notes before you buy.

Where does this fit in the wider picture?

Common questions

What is the cheapest eSIM for Namibia?

On Airalo, the 3 GB plan over 3 days at $28 is $9.33 a gigabyte, a hair under the 1 GB plan at $9.50. Only two plans were verified on 8 October 2026, so this is a thin comparison, and we have priced no other seller.

Is there a long-stay Namibia eSIM on Airalo?

Not in our data. Both plans last 3 days. A longer trip would need repeat purchases or a different seller, which we have not priced. Check Airalo's page for any newer plans.

Which networks operate in Namibia?

The Namibian's reporting names MTC as an operator that offers eSIMs to its own customers. Airalo does not say which network its Namibia eSIM uses, so we cannot tie the plan to MTC or any other carrier.

Is the 3 GB Namibia plan good value?

Not especially. At $28 it is $9.33 a gigabyte, barely under the 1 GB plan's $9.50. Buy it only if you need the allowance within three days.
