eSIM Go in Turkey: nothing on sale, and nothing that held up

What we can state plainly

There is no eSIM Go Turkey product to review. eSIM Go sells wholesale to resellers rather than to travellers. Checked on 18 August 2026, esim-go.com carries no consumer price anywhere: no basket, no checkout, Contact Sales instead of Buy now, and no per-country consumer pages, which return 404.

That withdraws the one thing this page used to state plainly. It opened by confirming that eSIM Go's Turkey product supports hotspot tethering; that came from this site's own generated corpus, was never checkable, and is moot in any case. Our eSIM Go platform page has the full finding.

The carriers themselves are easier to rank. Turkcell is the network we recommend for visitors to Turkey: it has the largest market share and the widest coverage, particularly in eastern Turkey, Cappadocia and along the Black Sea coast. Vodafone is solid in the coastal resorts. Türk Telekom is the weaker of the three for a trip that leaves the cities. Airalo, Saily, Nomad and Holafly name nothing at all, and the Turkcell and Vodafone pair our data once carried against eSIMCard's rows came from this site's generated text rather than from eSIMCard.

Hotspot support sounds like a footnote until you are sharing a connection with a travelling companion or working from a laptop in a Cappadocia cave hotel. Holafly's unlimited plans are the ones travellers most often get caught out by on tethering, so check it before you buy whatever you buy.

Why there are no eSIM Go prices below

Our Turkey plan dataset contains rows for eSIMCard, Saily, Nomad, Airalo and Holafly, and none for eSIM Go — because eSIM Go publishes no consumer price for anyone to read. Earlier versions of this page told you to get its Turkey pricing from eSIM Go directly. There is nothing there to get, and that advice has gone. Read the next section anyway, because in Turkey the order you do things in matters.

Buy and install before you land

Turkey's telecommunications regulator, the BTK, blocked access to most international eSIM provider websites — Airalo, Holafly, Nomad, Saily and others — from inside Turkey. An eSIM that is already installed keeps working. What you cannot reliably do from inside the country, without a VPN, is buy a new one, install a profile you have already paid for, top up, or reinstall after a wipe.

That turns a normally forgiving purchase into one with a deadline. Buy the eSIM at home, install the profile at home, and confirm it appears in your phone's mobile data settings before you get on the plane. If you arrive with nothing, the practical fallback is a physical SIM at the airport, not a last-minute eSIM purchase on airport WiFi.

What the alternatives cost

Airalo's Turkey plans are sold under its own Merhaba label. That is Airalo's retail branding, not a network: Airalo does not publish which Turkish carrier its local eSIM roams onto, so we cannot tell you which one you would be on. These rows were read from Airalo's own site on 13 August 2026:

Saily's Turkish rows were read off its own site on 16 August 2026, so they carry the same weight as Airalo's rather than sitting with the indicative listings: $3.99 for 1GB over 7 days, then $6.99 for 3GB, $9.99 for 5GB, $15.99 for 10GB and $22.99 for 20GB, every one of those on 30-day validity. That last row is $1.15 a gigabyte.

Holafly's verified unlimited runs $11.90 for three days and $20.50 for five. A physical tourist SIM bought at the airport runs to about $20 in our data, and requires a passport to register.

That is the bar in Turkey, and it is set by two providers whose prices we have actually read rather than one. Roughly $1.50 per GB at the 10GB mark — Airalo $15.50, Saily $15.99, both with a 30-day window.

Where the host network stops mattering

Being on Turkcell does not make signal appear where there is none. The gaps to plan around in Turkey are rural Eastern Anatolia, the Cappadocia valleys where signal drops between the rock formations in narrow gorges, Black Sea mountain roads between towns, and some Aegean and Mediterranean island-hopping routes. Average speed across the country in our data is 38 Mbps, which is fine for maps, messaging and booking.

If your trip is Istanbul, Antalya and a balloon flight, any of these providers works. If it is a driving trip east, the network choice is the decision that matters — and no travel eSIM seller will tell you what you are choosing.

Verdict

There is no eSIM Go plan for Turkey to buy, and the hotspot support this page once confirmed for it was our invention rather than the company's claim.

Buy against $1.50 per GB at the 10GB mark, which Airalo's verified $15.50 and Saily's verified $15.99 both sit at. If the network is what you are buying on, eSIMCard does publish host carriers on its country pages, confirmed on its Japanese one, but we have not read its page for this country and hold no network for it here.
