Saily in Turkey: a month on every plan, at prices we have now checked

The whole Turkish range

Saily keeps its Turkey line-up short, and unusually it gives almost everything the same validity — one month, whatever size you buy.

There is no unlimited option in Turkey and nothing above 20GB. Hotspot tethering is supported. Calls and SMS are not included on any plan — messaging apps run over the data instead.

All five prices were read from Saily's own Turkish page on 16 August 2026. They are the current listings rather than figures inherited from older research, which was not true of this page until now — the numbers it carried before were higher than what Saily actually charges.

The 30-day validity is the real feature

Most providers charge a small premium for a longer expiry window, and sell short-validity versions of the same allowance alongside. Saily does not bother: buy 5GB and you have a month to spend it, buy 20GB and you have a month.

That suits a particular traveller — someone on a slow three- or four-week loop through Turkey who does not want to think about an expiry date, or anyone whose return flight is not fixed. If your trip is a week, you are paying for calendar you will not use — though that costs less than it sounds, since Airalo's 5GB over 7 days is $9.00 against Saily's $9.99 for the same data over a month.

Where the price sits against the market

The per-gigabyte column falls all the way down the range, from $3.99 at the entry plan to $1.15 at 20GB over 30 days. That last rate is the one to judge Saily on, and it is within half a dollar of the cheapest 20GB in the country.

Airalo's Turkey prices have also been read off its own site, and the two ladders now sit almost on top of each other. Saily's 5GB over 30 days at $9.99 is a cent below Airalo's $10.00 for the same size and window. Its 10GB over 30 days at $15.99 is 49 cents above Airalo's $15.50, and its 20GB over 30 days at $22.99 is 49 cents above Airalo's $22.50. At 3GB the comparison favours Saily on time rather than money: $6.99 buys 30 days where Airalo's $6.50 buys seven.

So there is no longer a price argument between the two at any shared size. Where Airalo pulls away is above Saily's ceiling. Nomad's 50GB over 30 days costs $31 — 62 cents a gigabyte, the cheapest data in Turkey — with Airalo's 50GB next at $34.50, and Saily's range simply stops at 20GB. A month of remote work belongs on that plan; a normal holiday does not need it.

Airalo also sells short-window versions of the sizes Saily gives a month to, and they are cheaper: 5GB over 7 days at $9.00, 10GB over 7 days at $14.50. If your trip is a week, those beat Saily's 30-day equivalents by 99 cents and $1.49 respectively. If it is longer, or the return date is soft, Saily's month is worth the difference.

Saily's clearest win is at the bottom. Its 1GB plan runs seven days for $3.99, where Airalo's 1GB runs three days for $4 — a penny less for more than twice the window. For a stopover in Istanbul between flights that is a reasonable buy.

What Saily says about the network

Saily's own listing points to no carrier for its Turkish eSIM. The Turkcell entry this page used to show appeared in our data only against the 1GB and 3GB plans, and it came from those records rather than from Saily, whose country pages name no operator in any market it sells.

That is worth knowing because Turkey is a country where the network matters in specific places rather than generally. Cities and the resort coasts are fine on anything. The gaps are rural Eastern Anatolia, the narrower Cappadocia gorges where signal drops between the rock formations, Black Sea mountain roads between towns, and parts of the Aegean and Mediterranean island-hopping routes. Turkcell is the network usually recommended for tourist coverage.

If coverage in those places is the reason you are choosing a provider, an unverified listing on two of five plans is not enough to decide on. A local prepaid SIM from the carrier you want costs around $20 at the airport and needs your passport to register; the eSIM needs no ID at all.

Verdict

Saily is straightforward, the month-long validity is a real convenience, and its prices — now read at source — sit within a dollar of the cheapest verified plans in Turkey at every size it sells, with Nomad under it at each one. Airalo is 49 cents cheaper at 10GB and at 20GB over 30 days, and cheaper again if a seven-day window will do; Saily is a cent cheaper at 5GB over 30 days and gives four times the window at 3GB. None of those differences should decide a purchase.

The size you need should. Saily has nothing above 20GB. Two rivals do: Nomad's verified 50GB month at $31 and Airalo's at $34.50, both under a dollar a gigabyte, so a month of heavy use belongs with one of them rather than here.

Whichever you choose, buy and install it before you fly. Turkey's telecoms regulator blocks international eSIM sellers' websites from inside the country, Saily's among them, so arriving without a working profile leaves you with the passport counter and nothing else.
