Holafly eSIM Asia: 16 countries, one plan, priced by the day
The Holafly eSIM Asia plan covers 16 countries on one unlimited eSIM. We read it on 8 October 2026 and set it against the single-country prices and Airalo.
Holafly eSIM Asia is one unlimited eSIM for 16 countries, sold in six lengths from 3 to 30 days. The page lists the 16, and we read it on 8 October 2026. The short verdict: it saves switching eSIMs on a multi-country trip, but for one country the single-country plan costs the same or a little less.
Which countries does the Holafly eSIM Asia plan cover?
Holafly names sixteen: Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. It says you can travel between them without swapping eSIMs. Holafly also sells narrower regional plans, including Southeast Asia and Japan and Korea.
Missing from the list: India and Australia, which have their own pages on this site. We hold verified Holafly prices for India but none for Thailand, though the Asia plan does include it.
How much does Holafly eSIM Asia cost?
The price table on the Asia page, in USD when we read it:
| Days | Asia plan | Japan alone (18 Aug 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| 3 | $11.90 | $11.90 |
| 5 | $20.50 | $20.50 |
| 7 | $27.50 | $27.50 |
| 10 | $37.50 | $36.50 |
| 15 | $51.50 | $50.50 |
| 30 | $76.50 | $73.90 |
So the regional plan matches the single-country price up to a week, then costs $1 to $2.60 more. Pay the regional premium only if you really cross borders. The purchase box also shows a 1-day plan at 3.90 euros, which we did not price in dollars.
What are the unlimited and hotspot limits?
Holafly markets the plan as unlimited data at 4G, 5G or LTE speed where available. Its FAQ says an operator's fair usage policy can slow you after heavy use, for up to one day. Hotspot is capped: the Asia page allows 1 GB of sharing per day, so 7 GB on a 7-day plan. More on this at Holafly unlimited data.
The eSIM is data-only with no number for calls or texts. Each plan also includes a 1 GB monthly backup allowance, which Holafly calls Always On, renewed every 30 days while the eSIM stays installed.
Is Holafly eSIM Asia cheaper than Airalo?
Compare the single-country rows, since that is what we verified (18 August 2026). In Vietnam Holafly's 30 days is $73.90 against Airalo's unlimited $69, and Airalo's 50 GB plan is $49. In Singapore the Airalo unlimited month is $69. In Thailand, Airalo's unlimited month is $49 and its 50 GB plan $27.50, while Holafly's Thailand row is not one we hold. Regional pricing does not change that picture. See Airalo vs Holafly, Holafly's side.
For one country, go direct: Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore and South Korea each have a page. For ranking across sellers, best eSIM for Asia and cheapest eSIM are the places.
When is the Holafly eSIM Asia plan the right pick?
When your route crosses borders. A trip that runs Tokyo, Seoul, then Hong Kong, then Bangkok is the case the Asia plan is built for, since you install one eSIM and the days count down across all four. For a single-country holiday, buy that country's eSIM instead: it costs the same or slightly less. For a trip with a long stay in one place, a metered plan is cheaper than the Holafly eSIM Asia plan.
What does Holafly not tell you about Asia?
Sixteen countries is a fair spread but not complete: India, Australia, Brunei and Myanmar are not named on the page.
No network names, in any country. The Asia page also does not give a coverage map; it says only that remote areas may have weaker signal. Check the Holafly hub for the full picture, and the coverage map page for what Holafly says about its reach. There is no published Holafly discount code either. Prices change, so confirm at checkout. Yes, up to 1 GB per day, according to the Asia page, so 7 GB of sharing over a 7-day plan. Holafly's FAQ also says an operator's fair usage policy can slow you after heavy use, for up to one day. The Asia page gives no figure for what happens once the daily hotspot allowance is gone.
