Holafly coverage map: what Holafly says it covers, and what it does not say
Holafly claims 200-plus destinations and names no carriers. We could not find a coverage map on the regional page we checked, so we list what Holafly actually states.
There is no map on this page, because we could not find one to describe. The Holafly coverage map people search for is a list of countries, and Holafly publishes that list and little else. We read its homepage, Europe and Asia pages and plan pages on 8 October 2026. Here is exactly what they say.
What countries does Holafly say it covers?
Holafly says it covers more than 200 destinations with individual and regional eSIMs. Its monthly plans, which are subscriptions, cover 160 destinations, and a separate "Always On" backup feature is described as working in 150-plus countries. The Asia page also cites "over 70 countries" for that same backup feature, so Holafly is not consistent with itself. We note it and move on.
Holafly also lists regional plans, including Europe, Asia, Southeast Asia, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, North America, Oceania, Scandinavia, the Balkans and the Caribbean, plus cruise plans and a global plan.
Which countries are in the Holafly Europe and Asia lists?
The Europe plan covers 33 countries: from Andorra, Austria and Belgium through Spain and Sweden to Switzerland and the United Kingdom, including Iceland, Liechtenstein and Malta. The Asia plan covers 16: Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. For that plan see Holafly eSIM Asia.
Two notable absences from the Asia list: India and Australia are not there. The United States is not in either, and Holafly has a separate North America plan.
Which networks does Holafly use?
It does not say. Holafly states that its eSIM connects automatically to the best local network available, and the regional pages say 4G, LTE and 5G where available. We read them for operator names and found none. Our verified Holafly rows carry no network either. In fact none of the sellers whose sites we have read publishes the host network for its plans, so this is not a Holafly-only gap.
So a Holafly coverage map would tell you where a plan works but not how well. Holafly itself adds that speeds may drop in remote or poorly covered areas, and its Europe page warns that rural parts, such as areas of the Alps, may have weaker signal.
How do you check Holafly coverage for your trip?
Use the destination page on Holafly's site, which Holafly says shows the technical specs, including the hotspot allowance, for that country. Pick the country, not just the region: our checked country rows show prices differ by zone, with Spain at $64.50 for 30 days and India at $111.90.
Holafly's Europe and Asia pages price above some single-country pages. The Asia and Europe 30-day plans were $76.50 when we read them, against $73.90 for Japan or Germany alone on 18 August and $64.50 for Spain, so a regional plan is only worth it if you cross borders.
Coverage is not the same as quality
A country appearing on a list tells you Holafly sells there. It does not tell you the speed in a given village. For a city trip that rarely matters. For a rural drive, check the carrier question elsewhere, since this site cannot answer it.
Why there is no Holafly coverage map here
We could have drawn a map by shading the countries Holafly lists. We chose not to, because a shaded map would suggest signal strength that nobody has measured. The honest Holafly coverage map is a list: 200-plus destinations claimed, 33 in the Europe plan, 16 in the Asia plan, and no carrier names. When Holafly or a carrier publishes real coverage data, we will link it.
The Holafly hub has every verified price, Holafly unlimited data explains the speed and hotspot limits, and cheapest eSIM compares across sellers. If you are weighing it against others, see Holafly alternatives. This page is desk research, not drive-testing.
Common questions
Is there a Holafly coverage map?
We could not find one. The Europe page we checked describes coverage in text only, and Holafly publishes country lists and a destinations page instead of a shaded map. A Holafly coverage map would also not show signal strength, so we have not drawn one from the country lists.
How many countries does Holafly cover?
Holafly claims more than 200 destinations for its individual and regional eSIMs, and 160 destinations for its monthly plans. Its Europe plan lists 33 countries and its Asia plan lists 16. Holafly's own pages cite different figures for its Always On backup feature, 150-plus countries on one page and over 70 on another.
What network does Holafly use?
Holafly does not name one. It says the eSIM connects automatically to the best local network available, and its regional pages mention 4G, LTE and 5G where available. We found no operator names on the pages we read, and our verified Holafly price rows carry no network either.
Is Holafly coverage good in rural areas?
Holafly itself says speeds may drop in remote or poorly covered areas, and its Europe page warns that rural parts, such as areas of the Alps, may have weaker signal. Holafly publishes no rural coverage data, and we did no drive-testing, so we cannot rate it outside cities.
Does Holafly cover the USA?
Holafly lists a North America plan, but we did not verify US prices, and the United States is in neither the Europe list nor the Asia list. Check the destination page on Holafly's site for the technical specs, including the hotspot allowance, before you buy a plan for the US.
