eSIM Go in Serbia: no plans, because there is nothing on sale

The honest position

We hold no eSIM Go plan for Serbia — no size, no duration, no price — and this time we can say why rather than shrug. eSIM Go sells wholesale to resellers rather than to travellers. Checked on 18 August 2026, esim-go.com carries no consumer price anywhere: no basket, no checkout, Contact Sales instead of Buy now, and no per-country consumer pages, which return 404.

There is no Serbian price published for anyone to capture, and no site to send you to. Our eSIM Go platform page has the whole finding, including why the 34 rows we do hold for other countries can never be verified. What follows is the rest of the Serbian market at prices you can actually pay.

Three claims we deleted

This page used to say eSIM Go's Serbia plans started at $8 for 3GB over 30 days. That figure came from a generated corpus whose prices, once checked against providers' own sites, turned out wrong far more often than right. The same corpus put Serbia's cheapest data at $2.00 per GB; the real verified floor is $0.70, on Nomad's 50 GB month. We removed the number rather than repeat it.

It also named A1 and Yettel as eSIM Go's Serbian host network, which came from the same corpus — eSIM Go has no consumer page on which it could name a carrier, and nor does anyone else: we read Airalo's, Nomad's, Saily's and Holafly's own country pages on 17 and 18 August 2026 and found no operator named for any country. And it said Yettel Serbia was the best carrier for the country while this plan did not fully match it — a coverage judgement about a plan we do not have, resting on a network nobody has verified. Both are gone.

What Serbia costs, from providers who do sell here

Every figure was read from the provider's own site: Airalo's on 13 August 2026, Nomad's on 17 August, Saily's and Holafly's on 18 August.

Two features of that market are worth knowing before you shop. Nomad sets the price at every size above a gigabyte, and by a clear margin at the top — an earlier version of this page had it beaten at 5GB and 10GB on figures nobody had checked, which turned out to be roughly double what Nomad charges. And Serbia is dearer than the region suggests on Airalo's ladder: its 10GB month costs $12 in Bulgaria and $18 here, and its 50GB plan $36 against $49.

How to price-check a quote

Three thresholds. Around $4 for 1GB is normal. About $15 for 10GB over 30 days matches the best verified price we hold, so anything materially above that is beaten by a plan we have checked. At 50GB, 70 cents a gigabyte is what the market already does, so a quote has to get under that to be interesting.

Then two things that are not price at all. Validity first: Airalo charges roughly a dollar to move from a seven-day plan to a 30-day one at the same size, so a quote that adds several dollars for a longer window is out of step with the market. Hotspot second: the old version of this page said eSIM Go supported tethering, which was never checkable and is now moot. The answer varies by seller — Holafly blocks tethering on its Serbia plans, Airalo allows it on all of them. If you travel with a laptop, confirm it at checkout rather than after activation.

Coverage, which no eSIM brand really sells you

Not one network value in our Serbia data has been confirmed, and no seller publishes one: Airalo, Nomad, Saily and Holafly all name nothing.

The Serbian gaps worth planning around apply whoever you buy from. The remote Stara Planina mountains are patchy, as are some deep sections of the Djerdap Gorge and very rural villages in the south. The Kosovo border area has a separate network. No travel eSIM lets you choose which network you land on, so if signal in those places decides your trip, a local SIM you can pick by carrier is the better tool.

Before any of this

Serbia is outside the EU and the EEA, so roam-like-at-home does not apply. Your domestic European allowance does not automatically travel here, and unless your operator has put Serbia in an extended zone, roaming is charged. Check your tariff first — it is the most expensive assumption available on this page.

A Serbian prepaid SIM costs about $14 at the airport, from Telekom Srbija, Yettel Serbia or A1 Serbia, and gives you a local number. That is more than most eSIM entry prices here, and registration requires a passport or ID at the counter, so for a short trip the eSIM route is both cheaper and quicker. Buy local only if carrier choice or a local number genuinely matters to you.
