eSIM Go in Norway: we hold no plans, and we won't invent any

eSIM Go does not sell to travellers

Before anything else on this page: eSIM Go sells wholesale to resellers, not to the public. We opened esim-go.com on 18 August 2026 and found no consumer price anywhere on the site — no basket, no checkout, Contact Sales where a shop puts Buy now, and no per-country consumer pages, which return 404.

So there is no Norway plan to price, no product page for you to check, and nothing on eSIM Go's site to hold against the market below. The 34 rows we do hold for it, spread across 16 large countries, cannot be verified for the same reason: there is no published consumer price to read them against. We hold no eSIM Go pricing for Norway

Our Norway dataset has 40 plan rows across four sellers: Airalo, Saily, Nomad and Holafly. eSIM Go is not one of them. There is no eSIM Go checkout to open, for Norway or anywhere, so there is no price on this page.

That is a deliberate deletion rather than an oversight. An earlier version of this page quoted a 3 GB monthly price for eSIM Go in Norway and named Telenor and Telia as the network behind it. Both came out of generated prose, not out of eSIM Go. When we checked that prose's figures against real checkouts elsewhere in the dataset, roughly nine in ten were wrong, and a few named plans that did not exist. A wrong number on a comparison site is worse than a gap, so it is a gap.

One detail from the old page survives with a warning attached: it recorded hotspot tethering as supported. That is plausible for a data-only travel eSIM, and we have not tested it.

Nobody publishes a Norwegian host network

We hold no host carrier for eSIM Go here, and the picture is the same across the rest of the table. Airalo, Saily and Nomad publish nothing for Norway either. Holafly publishes nothing for Norway either: the Telenor, Telia and Ice listing this page used to carry against it came from our own data rather than from the seller, which names no carrier in any country.

So treat coverage as a lottery you cannot enter. If the network you land on genuinely matters to you — because your route leaves the main roads — the only way to choose it is a local prepaid SIM from the carrier itself.

What Norway costs, from the data we do have

Cheapest row we hold at each size:

Verified means someone read it off the seller's own site — Airalo's rows on 13 August 2026, Nomad's on 17 August 2026. Indicative means it is carried from earlier research and should be checked before you buy. Every Airalo and Nomad row in our Norway data is now verified; no Saily or Holafly row is. Three of the six rows above changed when Nomad's ladder was checked: 5 GB and 50 GB moved to Airalo, and Nomad's 20 GB came down from a claimed $22 to a real $20.

The arithmetic Norway rewards is buying big. Airalo's 50 GB month at $36 works out near $0.72 a gigabyte, and Nomad's at $45 near $0.90. At the other end, a 1 GB starter is $4 or so a gigabyte — five to six times the rate. If you are on the fence between 5 GB and 20 GB for a fortnight, the larger plan is barely more money and removes the mid-trip top-up.

Unlimited is a separate market. Holafly starts at $6.90 for a single day and runs to $99 for 90 days, all indicative; Airalo's verified unlimited runs $11.50 for 3 days up to $69 for 30, and Nomad's verified unlimited runs $11 for 3 days, $18 for 5, $25 for 7 and $33 for 10, undercutting Airalo at each of those lengths. We also saw a 25-day Holafly listing priced above its own 30-day plan, which is the shape of a stale scrape, so we dropped it rather than repeat it.

Where any Norwegian eSIM goes quiet

Norway's populated strip is well served, and along the E6, in Oslo, Bergen and Tromsø, and in the coastal towns you will not think about signal. The gaps are geographic and consistent: the mountain plateaus, Hardangervidda and Finnmarksvidda; open sea more than about 12 km out; remote valleys in Sogn og Fjordane; and deep fjord side valleys off the main roads. A ferry crossing or a hiking day above the treeline should be planned as offline time whichever eSIM you carry.

Buying locally, and the EEA shortcut

Norway sits inside the EEA, so an EU or EEA phone plan roams there at domestic rates. If that is you, buy nothing at all. Everyone else has a choice between a travel eSIM and a local prepaid SIM from Telenor Norway, Telia Norway or Ice. A prepaid starter at the airport runs about $18, and registration needs a passport or ID — no travel eSIM asks you for one.

At $18, the local SIM costs more than every metered eSIM plan under 20 GB in our table, so price is not the reason to buy one. Choosing your network is.

Verdict

We cannot recommend eSIM Go for Norway, and we cannot warn you off it either — we hold nothing on it. If you want to use it, open its Norway page and compare what you see against the verified figures above; anything that beats $15.50 for 10 GB or $36 for 50 GB is a genuinely good deal.
