Airalo in Denmark: the prices we checked, and what they mean

Airalo's Denmark prices were read directly off its own site on 13 August 2026, and Nomad's off its own on 17 August 2026. Everything below from those two providers is verified. The Saily figures below were read off Saily's own site on 18 August 2026. Only the Holafly figures have since been verified, and we say so each time.

There is one quirk worth acting on. Airalo's 10GB plan costs $17.50 whether you take 15 days or 30 days of validity. Same data, same price, twice the time. There is no reason to buy the 15-day version. The pattern is gentler elsewhere but points the same way: 5GB costs $10.00 for seven days, $10.50 for fifteen and $11.00 for thirty, so a dollar buys you 23 extra days of headroom. Always take the longer window.

This is less well known than it should be. Airalo's Denmark range includes unlimited-data plans, all verified: $11.50 for three days, $19.50 for five, $27.00 for seven, $35.00 for ten, $49.00 for fifteen and $71.00 for thirty.

Whether that is sensible depends entirely on your usage. Compare against Airalo's own metered plans: $27.00 buys unlimited for seven days, or 20GB across 15 days for the same $27.00. Ten unlimited days cost $35.00, exactly what 50GB over 30 days costs. So unless you are pushing well past 50GB in a fortnight, Airalo's own metered plans give you more usable data for the money.

The three-day unlimited plan at $11.50 is the exception worth flagging. For a short, intense trip — a conference, a weekend where you are streaming and tethering — it removes the risk of running dry, and $11.50 is only fifty cents more than 5GB for 30 days.

Where Airalo loses in Denmark

Two places, and both are worth knowing before you buy.

On metered data, Nomad is cheaper in the middle and dearer at both ends. It takes 10GB at $16.00 against Airalo's $17.50 and 20GB at $20.00 against $27.50 — that second gap, $7.50, is the widest on the Danish board. Airalo takes 5GB at $11.00 against $12.50 and 50GB at $35.00 against $45.00, which is where Denmark's $0.70 floor rate comes from.

An earlier version of this page said Nomad was cheaper at every size the two share, and badly understated its 50GB. Nomad's Danish prices had never been read off Nomad's site at that point. They have been now, and three of them were wrong in Nomad's favour.

Saily's $3.99 for 1GB over seven days beats Airalo's $4.00 for 1GB over three days — a cent less, for more than twice the validity. Saily's 5GB month is closer still: $10.99 against Airalo's $11.00.

On unlimited, Holafly's indicative prices undercut Airalo at every matching duration:

At ten days the gap is $7.10, at fifteen it is $12.10, and at thirty it is $11.10. The caveat matters, though: Airalo's figures are ones we have read, Holafly's are not. A verified price you can act on is worth something against an indicative one you still have to check. And Holafly's Denmark plan does not support hotspot tethering, while Airalo's plans do — if you need to get a laptop online, the comparison ends there.

Network and coverage

Airalo does not publish a host network for Denmark, and it does not publish one for any country. We hold nothing on which Danish operator its eSIMs roam onto, and neither does anyone else who has not been told directly by Airalo. Ignore any review that names one; an older version of this page did, and it was not something anyone had confirmed. Saily and Nomad publish nothing either.

What is not provider-specific is where Danish coverage thins out: remote Jutland heathlands, some of the smaller islands, and parts of the Wadden Sea tidal flats. Bornholm has good coverage. The Faroe Islands run on a separate network and should not be assumed to be included in a Denmark plan — check the country list before you travel there.

Verdict

Airalo is the safe choice in Denmark rather than the cheap one. Its prices are the only ones here we have actually verified, its plans tether, and its 50GB month at $35.00 is solid if not class-leading.

If you want the lowest metered price, Nomad is cheaper at 10GB and 20GB, and Airalo is cheaper at 5GB and 50GB — all four of those on checked figures. For unlimited, Nomad undercuts Airalo at every shared duration up to ten days on verified prices, and Holafly looks cheaper again at every duration on prices nobody has checked. And buy the 10GB plan with 30 days rather than 15 — it is the same $17.50 either way. The Denmark hub has the full side-by-side, and EU or EEA residents should check their home roaming allowance before buying anything at all.
