eSIMCard in the Czech Republic: no plans we could price

What we hold on eSIMCard here

Nothing, and it is better to say that than to fill the space. Our Czech plan data covers four providers — Airalo, Saily, Nomad and Holafly — and eSIMCard is not one of them. No price, no allowance, no validity window, no network. eSIMCard does sell Czech coverage inside its wider range, but we have not read a single Czech listing off its own checkout, so any figure we printed here would be a guess dressed up as research. Where we have read it, the figures we held turned out to be wrong — see below.

The version of this page that stood here quoted no prices either. It told you to check the product page — and then, in the same breath, named two Czech networks as eSIMCard's hosts and asserted that the plan did not match the best carrier in the country. Those claims came out of generated text rather than out of eSIMCard. We have taken them down and left the gap visible.

Why we hold no eSIMCard price anywhere now

This blank used to be specific to the Czech Republic. It no longer is. We carried 78 eSIMCard rows across 31 countries; on 18 August 2026 we read eSIMCard's own pages and found them wrong, and every one of those rows has been withdrawn from the tables and from the cheapest-per-gigabyte ranking.

We could not replace them with the right figures either. eSIMCard prices the same size over the same duration at two or three different amounts, depending on a Standard/Universal toggle, a per-plan speed limit hidden inside each plan's details modal, and carrier sets that vary plan by plan. Our records hold only provider, size, days and price, so any single figure we stored would flatten a throttled plan and a full-speed one into one row. Our eSIMCard page sets out the reasoning.

None of that is a verdict on the shop. eSIMCard has a working checkout, a catalogue far wider than our rows ever showed, and it is the only one of the six sellers here that publishes the host network its plans use — its Japan page names three Japanese operators, where Airalo, Nomad, Saily and Holafly name none anywhere. What we have no read of is its the Czech Republic listing, which is why this page still prices the market instead.

No Czech host network is confirmed, for anyone

This is worth knowing before you shop on network claims at all. Airalo publishes no host network for any country, this one included. Holafly names none either — an earlier version of this page said its own listing gave Czech networks, and that attribution came from our data rather than from Holafly. Saily names none, and neither does Nomad; an earlier version of this page said Nomad did, which was wrong. For eSIMCard we hold nothing whatsoever.

It matters less here than it would elsewhere, because the Czech coverage gaps we know about are terrain rather than brand: remote Bohemian and Moravian forest hiking areas, border mountain regions such as the Šumava and the remote Krkonoše trails, and the insides of caves and gorges. Those drop signal whichever SIM you are holding. Download offline maps for those days and stop worrying about which logo appears in your status bar.

What the market costs, so you can price a quote against it

The Airalo rows below were read from Airalo's own site on 13 August 2026 and the Nomad rows from its own on 17 August 2026. The rest is indicative — our figure rather than the provider's, and worth re-checking at the checkout.

The spread inside one verified ladder is the number to carry with you. Airalo's 1GB over three days is $4.00, or four dollars a gigabyte; its 50GB month is $36.00, or 72 cents. Nothing about the Czech market stops at 20GB, which an earlier version of our own coverage wrongly implied.

One checkout trap while you compare. Airalo lists a second Czech package badged O2, containing exactly one plan: 10GB over 30 days at $16.00, a dollar above the same allowance in its Prosím range at $15.00. O2 is also the name of a real Czech operator, and that is precisely the confusion to avoid — the badge is Airalo's own product name, and Airalo publishes no host network anywhere.

The verdict, such as it can be

We do not recommend plans we have not priced. If an eSIMCard listing for the Czech Republic is in front of you, the test takes ten seconds: divide the price by the gigabytes, check the expiry, then find the nearest row above. Beating 72 cents a gigabyte on a 50GB month is hard. Beating $4.50 for a three-day 3GB burst is easier than it looks, because small plans are where every provider's margin sits.

If you would rather not do arithmetic in an arrivals hall, the local option is unusually painless here: no ID is required for a Czech prepaid SIM, and a tourist SIM at the airport runs around $12.
