What is in the Vodafone Czech Republic SIM card for tourists?

The terms page says the Tourist SIM Card is a special edition of Vodafone's "Karta pro partu" card, taking effect on 29 April 2026. The recommended price is 349 Kč. It includes unlimited data for one week, with a cap of 16 GB for use inside the EU, and 100 Kč of initial extra credit valid for 45 days from activation. That credit cannot be used for third-party services and is not paid out. The card is aimed at new customers and sold at selected partners and Vodafone stores while stocks last.

The page does not say whether registration or ID is required, nor whether this card exists as an eSIM.

Can you get a Vodafone prepaid eSIM?

Vodafone's prepaid page says every card it lists is available as a plastic SIM or an eSIM at no extra charge. The eSIM comes as a voucher with a QR code that is sent by Czech Post, so it is not instant. For example, the Předplatenka 5 GB card is listed at 199 Kč and the Předplatenka 2 GB at 149 Kč. The prepaid page makes no 5G or coverage claim; it links to a coverage map. We therefore cannot confirm third-party claims that Vodafone leads Czech 5G coverage. On roaming, calls, SMS and data work in the EU, Norway, Liechtenstein, the UK and Iceland without roaming surcharges, under the same conditions as in the Czech Republic.
