Saily's Czech Republic eSIM: half the price we used to publish

The five plans

Saily sells five metered Czech plans. Everything except the entry tier runs for 30 days, and there are no calls or SMS — it is data only, with tethering supported.

Every figure we used to carry was too high, most of them by five dollars, and the 1GB week by exactly half. None had been read off Saily's checkout. This page's old headline — "cheapest ticket, dearest GB" — was an artefact of those numbers.

The cheapest ticket in the country, by a wide margin

At $1.99 for 1GB over seven days, Saily is not a penny under the field here; it is half the price of it. Airalo's cheapest Czech plan is $4.00 for a gigabyte over three days and Nomad's is $4.50 for a gigabyte over seven.

The Czech Republic is also one of only three markets, with Austria and Bulgaria, where Saily's 1GB week costs under two dollars. Across the forty-eight countries where we have now read its prices at source the same plan runs from $1.99 to $8.99, with most of Europe at $3.99 — which is precisely why our old flat-$3.99 record for every country was not believable.

Where it stands at every other size

Airalo's Czech prices were read from its own site on 13 August 2026 and Nomad's from its own on 17 August 2026.

Saily is a single cent under Airalo at 5GB, 10GB and 20GB alike, and four dollars under Nomad at 3GB. That one-cent pattern repeats in almost every country where we have checked both, and it means the choice between Saily and Airalo at those sizes is not a price decision.

Nomad's 20GB month at $20 is the exception and the only tier it wins.

Above 20GB Saily has nothing. Airalo sells a verified 50GB over 30 days for $36.00 — 72 cents a gigabyte, against Saily's best of $1.20 — so anyone planning a month of real use should be looking there.

Saily also sells unlimited-data plans for the Czech Republic, at lengths from five to thirty days. We hold no price for any of them, so nothing on this page tells you what Saily's unlimited tier costs.

The network question

Saily does not publish a host network for the Czech Republic, and it does not publish one anywhere: we hold no operator against a single Saily row in any of the forty-eight countries we cover. The claim on the earlier version of this page — which named two Czech operators — came out of generated text rather than from Saily. We have removed it.

In practice this is less of a loss than it sounds, because no eSIM provider we track for this country has a confirmed host network; the ones that name operators have not had those names checked against the operators themselves. If you need to know which network you are attaching to, the answer is a local prepaid SIM. The Czech Republic requires no ID for one, and an airport tourist SIM costs about $12 — though we do not hold what allowance that includes.

Coverage limits here are geographic rather than commercial in any case: remote Bohemian and Moravian forest hiking areas, border mountain regions such as the Šumava and the remote Krkonoše trails, and cave and gorge interiors all lose signal whatever you buy.

Verdict

Saily is now the default buy in the Czech Republic at every size up to 10GB. The $1.99 gigabyte week is the cheapest single plan in the country by a distance, the $4.99 3GB month is four dollars under Nomad, and at 5GB and 10GB it is a cent under Airalo.
