eSIM Go for Switzerland: no price and no network we can stand behind

eSIM Go does not sell to travellers

Before anything else on this page: eSIM Go sells wholesale to resellers, not to the public. We opened esim-go.com on 18 August 2026 and found no consumer price anywhere on the site — no basket, no checkout, Contact Sales where a shop puts Buy now, and no per-country consumer pages, which return 404.

So there is no Switzerland plan to price, no product page for you to check, and nothing on eSIM Go's site to hold against the market below. The 34 rows we do hold for it, spread across 16 large countries, cannot be verified for the same reason: there is no published consumer price to read them against. The one thing we can confirm

Hotspot tethering is supported. That is not universal in this market — Holafly, for one, does not allow it — so it counts for something.

That is the end of what we can tell you with confidence, and this page used to claim a good deal more.

What we do not have: a price

Our Switzerland plan data contains no eSIM Go rows. Not an unverified one, not an indicative one — nothing. The earlier version of this page carried figures that did not hold up when we went back to them, and we have removed them rather than leave numbers on the site that we cannot point at a source for.

There is no eSIM Go Switzerland product page to check. That is not a hedge, it is the only correct instruction we can give. Plan structures in this segment are revised often, and the provider's live listing is the authoritative version.

What we do not have: a network

This page previously named two Swiss carriers as eSIM Go's hosts, and then argued that the first of them was reason enough to buy — a recommendation to make a purchase that was never available. Neither name was sourced. eSIM Go has no verified rows anywhere in our data, its network cells are unconfirmed scrapes, and in a country where the carrier genuinely decides whether your phone works in a valley, publishing one of those as fact was the worst place to do it. It has gone.

Nor can you get the same assurance elsewhere. Airalo and Saily publish no Swiss host carrier, and neither does Nomad — not here, and not in any of the 47 countries whose prices we have now read directly off its own site. Nor does Holafly: the Swiss operators our data once held against its rows came from our own older text rather than from Holafly. eSIMCard's listing is the only one left, and nobody has checked it in either direction.

The prices it needs to undercut

By plan size, the cheapest options in our Switzerland data:

Airalo's figures were read from its own site on 13 August 2026 and Nomad's on 18 August, so every row above 3GB is verified. eSIMCard's rows have been withdrawn: we read its own pages on 18 August 2026, found the figures we held were wrong, and could not store the real ones. See our eSIMCard page. Nomad now holds the cheapest price at four of the six sizes, and an earlier version of this table had its 20GB month at $33 — the real figure is $25.

Switzerland is not a cheap data market, and the curve is steep at the bottom: $2.90 buys a gigabyte, but $12.50 is the entry price for five. If an eSIM Go quote lands materially outside those bands, that is your answer either way.

Unlimited is a separate ladder. Airalo's verified unlimited plans run $11.50 for 3 days, $18 for 5, $25 for 7, $34 for 10, $46 for 15 and $68 for 30. Nomad's verified unlimited runs $11 for 3 days, $18 for 5, $25 for 7 and $33 for 10. Holafly's verified equivalents start at $3.90 for a single day and reach $74.90 for a month.

Why the network would have mattered

In most countries the host network is a footnote. In Switzerland it is not, which is exactly why the removal above matters.

Swisscom carries roughly 99% population coverage and reaches into mountain villages, ski lifts, train tunnels and remote valleys — the exact places visitors spend their time and the exact places a thinner network gives up. Sunrise is strong too, and all three national carriers run 5G in cities. Country-wide average speed is around 65 Mbps.

No travel eSIM sold for Switzerland will tell you which of those you land on. If the answer decides your trip, buy a Swiss prepaid SIM — around $20, and unusually for Europe, no ID is required.

Gaps that no provider solves: high-altitude ski runs and off-piste terrain above 3,000m, the Matterhorn summit area at 4,478m where signal ends above a certain height, and some remote hiking trails. Plan for offline maps if that is your trip.

How to decide

Find the plan size you actually need and compare whatever you are offered against the table above. If it beats the row, it is worth considering on price, and tethering is included.
