eSIMCard in Poland: no plan of its own in our data

What we actually hold on eSIMCard here

Our Poland price file covers four sellers — Airalo, Saily, Nomad and Holafly — across 35 plans. eSIMCard is not among them. Nobody on this site has read an eSIMCard price for Poland off eSIMCard's own site, so there is no honest way for us to print one.

An older version of this page did print one, and it also named two Polish carriers as eSIMCard's host network. Both came from the same generated text, and the price checks we ran on that text found most of its numbers wrong. We have dropped the network claim rather than repeat it: we hold no read of eSIMCard's Polish listing, and inferring a carrier from a competitor's page would be guesswork dressed up as research. The one detail from that listing worth keeping is that hotspot tethering was recorded as supported, which is worth knowing if a laptop or a second phone is going to share the connection.

What we can do is tell you what a Poland eSIM should cost, so you can price eSIMCard's own page against it.

Why we hold no eSIMCard price anywhere now

This blank used to be specific to Poland. It no longer is. We carried 78 eSIMCard rows across 31 countries; on 18 August 2026 we read eSIMCard's own pages and found them wrong, and every one of those rows has been withdrawn from the tables and from the cheapest-per-gigabyte ranking.

We could not replace them with the right figures either. eSIMCard prices the same size over the same duration at two or three different amounts, depending on a Standard/Universal toggle, a per-plan speed limit hidden inside each plan's details modal, and carrier sets that vary plan by plan. Our records hold only provider, size, days and price, so any single figure we stored would flatten a throttled plan and a full-speed one into one row. Our eSIMCard page sets out the reasoning.

None of that is a verdict on the shop. eSIMCard has a working checkout, a catalogue far wider than our rows ever showed, and it is the only one of the six sellers here that publishes the host network its plans use — its Japan page names three Japanese operators, where Airalo, Nomad, Saily and Holafly name none anywhere. What we have no read of is its Poland listing, which is why this page still prices the market instead.

In Poland, extra days are almost free

The striking thing in the verified Airalo rows is how little duration costs. The same 5GB is $7.50 over seven days, $8.00 over fifteen and $8.50 over thirty. Ten gigabytes runs $11.00, $11.50 and $12.00 across the same three windows. A dollar buys you three more weeks of validity.

That has a practical consequence: there is almost no reason to buy a short-window plan in Poland. Buy the month, and a delayed flight or an extra weekend in Kraków costs you nothing.

All four rows were read from Airalo's site on 13 August 2026. Per gigabyte, the month plans run from $1.70 at 5GB down to $0.70 at 50GB.

The rivals are close on the small plans and worse on the big ones. Saily's cheapest Poland entry is $4.49 for 1GB over seven days, read off its own site on 18 August 2026. That is 49 cents above Airalo's verified $4.00 for 1GB over three days, so the lowest sticker price in our Poland dataset is Airalo's — the reverse of what this page used to say on an unchecked $3.99. Above that it improves: Saily's 3GB month is $5.99, its 5GB month $8.99 against Airalo's verified $8.50, and its 10GB month $12.99 against Airalo's $12.00. Nomad's prices were read at source on 17 August 2026: its 3GB month is $9.00, above Airalo's verified $8.50 for 5GB, and its 20GB month is level with Airalo's verified $19.00.

So the targets are these. About $4 for a small short plan, about $12 for a 10GB month, about $35 for 50GB across a month. Anything sold above that line, by any provider, is being beaten by something we have checked.

Coverage you cannot buy your way around

Poland's cities and its main road and rail corridors are unremarkable in the good sense — every travel eSIM performs much the same in Warsaw, Kraków, Wrocław or Gdańsk. The known weak spots are rural: the Bieszczady mountains in the remote south-east, forested parts of the Mazury lake district, remote Beskidy trails, and isolated stretches of the Kashubian highlands.

Those are properties of the terrain and the national networks, not of any reseller. If your trip is built around hiking in the far south-east, plan for dead zones and carry offline maps regardless of what you buy.

The local SIM, and the question that comes first

A prepaid SIM from Orange Polska, Play, T-Mobile Poland or Plus costs around $8 at the airport. You must show a passport or ID card to register it, so it takes a counter visit rather than a purchase from a shelf. At that price it is competitive with Airalo's verified $8.50 month, and it is only worth the detour if you want a Polish number or expect to top up locally.

First, though, check what you already have. Poland is in the EU, and a contract from any EU or EEA country normally works there at domestic rates on your usual allowance. Verdict

No verdict on eSIMCard itself — we have nothing to base one on, and inventing one is exactly the failure this rewrite exists to fix. What we can hand you is the benchmark. Poland is a cheap market: $12 for a 10GB month and $0.70 a gigabyte at 50GB, both verified.
