Nomad in Poland: a full ladder, all of it priced above Airalo

Correction: the prices and the range were both wrong

Until 18 August 2026 this page said Nomad sold three Polish plans, all 30 days — 3GB at seven dollars, 10GB at fifteen, 20GB at twenty-two — that all three were indicative, that Nomad sold nothing short of a month, and that its listing pointed to Orange and T-Mobile.

Nomad's Polish catalogue has now been read off its own site. There are ten plans, not three. There is a one-gigabyte week and a full unlimited range, both of which we said did not exist. The 3GB month is $9, not $7, so the headline this page ran under — cheapest 3GB month in Poland — was never true. And Nomad publishes no host network in Poland or in any of the other 46 countries it sells in; the Orange and T-Mobile attribution came from third-party copy and has gone.

The range

All verified on 18 August 2026. Poland shares this ladder exactly with Austria, which is a fact about Nomad's pricing policy rather than about either country.

Against Airalo, it loses or ties everywhere

Airalo's Polish prices were read from its own site on 13 August 2026.

Poland is one of Airalo's strongest markets and one of Nomad's weakest relative to it. There is no size at which Nomad is the cheaper verified buy, and only one — 20GB for a month — where the two are level. Nomad's best rate is $0.90 a gigabyte on the 50GB; Airalo's is $0.70 on the same allowance.

The unlimited plans are the one place Nomad is competitive. $11 for three days undercuts Airalo's verified $11.50, $18 for five undercuts $18.50, and $25 for seven undercuts $27. Holafly lists $20.50 for five days, above both. If you want unlimited for a short city break, Nomad is the cheapest verified way to get it in Poland.

Where Nomad still beats Saily

Saily's Polish prices were read off Saily's own site on 18 August 2026 — $4.49 for 1GB over seven days, then $5.99 for 3GB, $8.99 for 5GB and $12.99 for 10GB across 30 days. Every one of those undercuts Nomad except the entry plan. On those unchecked figures Nomad is cheaper at 5GB and 10GB and a cent dearer at 3GB. That is a comparison between one verified ladder and one that nobody has read, so weight it accordingly.

Tethering, and no network claim to make

Hotspot tethering is supported, which separates Nomad from Holafly's Poland plan, where sharing the connection is blocked at network level. If a laptop or a second device is coming with you, that alone rules a fair few products out.

On the network, we have nothing to tell you and neither does Nomad. It publishes no host carrier anywhere, and the Orange and T-Mobile listing this page used to carry was not Nomad's. Airalo and Holafly do not publish one either; the Polish networks this page once credited to Holafly's own listing came from the same faulty data. In Poland this matters less than it would almost anywhere: Orange has the widest rural 4G, T-Mobile the widest 5G, Play the best urban speed-test results, and all three are strong.

Coverage, and the cheaper questions to ask first

Poland's dead spots are geographic and they apply to every reseller equally: the Bieszczady mountains in the remote south-east, forested parts of the Mazury lake district, remote Beskidy trails and isolated corners of the Kashubian highlands. Cities, motorways and the main rail lines are comfortable on anything.

Two things worth settling before you buy. A prepaid Polish SIM costs around $8 at the airport from Orange Polska, Play, T-Mobile Poland or Plus, but registration needs a passport or ID card at the counter. And if your home contract is from an EU or EEA country, roam-like-at-home means your usual allowance already works in Poland at domestic rates, so the honest advice is to buy nothing. Verdict

There is no metered size in Poland where Nomad is the right buy on price. Airalo is cheaper at 1GB, 3GB, 5GB, 10GB and 50GB, and level at 20GB, on prices both of us have checked.
