Saily in Poland: dearer at 1GB than we said, much cheaper above it

Five plans: 1GB over seven days at $4.49, then four 30-day options — 3GB at $5.99, 5GB at $8.99, 10GB at $12.99 and 20GB at $20.99. Every one was read off Saily's own site on 18 August 2026.

Every row moved, and the entry plan moved the wrong way. Our old records said Saily charged a flat $3.99 for a gigabyte in almost every country on earth. That was the tell — a single repeated figure across dozens of markets is what generated data looks like — and Poland is one of the places where the real number is higher, not lower.

The entry plan is no longer the argument

At $4.49, Saily's 1GB week is 49 cents above Airalo's $4.00 for 1GB over three days. It is a penny under Nomad's $4.50 for the same seven-day window, which is the only comparison it still wins.

So the line this page used to run — that Saily held "the lowest price in our whole Poland dataset" — is simply false. Airalo's $4.00 is the lowest sticker price in Poland. What Saily gives you for the extra 49 cents is four more days of validity, which for a long weekend in Kraków that might stretch is worth having, and for a fixed three-day trip is not.

Above 1GB, the ladder is much better than we said

Saily takes the 3GB month outright, by three dollars over Nomad — Airalo's 3GB plans run three days ($5.00) and seven ($6.00) rather than a month. At 5GB, 10GB and 20GB it sits between Airalo and Nomad, 49 cents to $1.99 above Airalo and a dollar or more below Nomad at the first two.

This page previously said Saily's 10GB month cost "two-thirds more" than Airalo's for an identical allowance. On the real price the gap is 99 cents.

Where Saily still has nothing is volume. Its ladder stops at 20GB. Airalo's verified 50GB month at $35 — 70 cents a gigabyte — is the cheapest data in Poland by a distance.

What we know about the network, which is nothing

Saily publishes no Polish host network. Our record once carried an Orange and T-Mobile pairing against the 1GB plan and nothing against the other three, which was the giveaway: it came from third-party copy rather than from Saily, which names no host carrier in any country. We hold no operator against a single Saily row anywhere in our data. Airalo and Nomad name none either. No recommendation on this page depends on which network any plan uses.

The coverage limits are Poland's own and hit every reseller equally: the Bieszczady mountains in the remote south-east, forested parts of the Mazury lake district, remote Beskidy trails, isolated corners of the Kashubian highlands. In Warsaw, Kraków, Gdańsk and Wrocław, any of these plans will feel the same.

Tethering, ID and what is not included

Hotspot tethering is supported on all Saily plans, so a laptop or a second device can share the connection — worth knowing if you were also considering Holafly, which blocks tethering in Poland at network level.

There are no calls or SMS. It is a data plan, so messaging apps work and a Polish phone number does not exist. Buying needs no documents, which is the one place every eSIM beats the local option: a prepaid Polish SIM costs around $8 at the airport from Orange Polska, Play, T-Mobile Poland or Plus, and by law you must register it with a passport or ID card at the counter.

Verdict

Saily's Polish range is worth buying at 3GB, where its $5.99 month is the cheapest of its size in the country, and it is a reasonable second choice at 5GB and 10GB where Airalo is 49 to 99 cents cheaper.

Do not buy the 1GB plan on the assumption it is cheapest — it is not; Airalo's $4.00 is, if three days will do. And for a heavy month, Airalo's 50GB at $35 is the only plan in Poland worth calling cheap.
