Airalo in Poland: the capped-data leader, at prices we checked ourselves

What Airalo actually sells for Poland

Eighteen plans: twelve capped, six unlimited. Prices below were read from Airalo's own site on 13 August 2026. Nomad's were read at source on 17 August 2026, and Saily's and Holafly's on 18 August 2026, so every price compared on this page is a checkout price.

The capped range runs 1GB, 3GB, 5GB, 10GB, 20GB and 50GB, most sizes offered at three validity windows. Duration is cheap: 10GB costs $11 for a week, $11.50 for a fortnight and $12 for a month. Fifty cents is not a reason to buy a short plan, and running out of validity on day eight of a nine-day trip is a real annoyance, so take the long window every time.

Unlimited runs $11.50 for three days, $18.50 for five, $27 for seven, $34.50 for ten, $48 for fifteen and $69 for thirty.

Where it wins

At every capped size where a rival competes, Airalo's verified price is lower or level.

The 10GB line is the one most travellers will land on, and $12 against Saily's $12.99 and Nomad's $14 is a narrow win. This page previously put Saily's 10GB month at $19.99 and called the gap "not a rounding difference"; that figure had never been read off Saily, and the real one is seven dollars lower. At 50GB, Nomad's verified $45 is ten dollars adrift and nobody else sells the size at all, so Airalo's 70 cents a gigabyte is the cheapest data in our Poland dataset by a distance.

A quirk worth knowing: $11.50 buys either unlimited data for three days or 10GB spread over fifteen. Same price, completely different products. For a long weekend of heavy use the first is right; for almost anything else the second is.

Where it doesn't win

Three honest exceptions.

The very bottom. Saily's 1GB week is $4.49, not the $3.99 we used to publish, so Airalo's $4.00 is now the cheapest single Polish plan we hold. It runs three days, though, against Saily's seven — 49 cents buys you four extra days, which for most weekend trips is the better end of the trade.

3GB over a month. Airalo's 3GB plans are short-dated — $5 for three days, $6 for seven — and there is no 30-day version. Nomad's verified $9 for 3GB over 30 days fills that gap, but badly: Airalo's verified $8.50 buys 5GB for the same month for less money.

Unlimited, sort of. Airalo undercuts Holafly's verified ladder at every one of the six lengths the two share — $11.50 against $11.90, $18.50 against $20.50, $27 against $27.50, $34.50 against $36.50, $48 against $50.50 and $69 against $73.90 — and the 25-day Polish plan this page used to credit Holafly with does not exist. But the real point about unlimited in Poland is that it is a bad buy for most people: $69 for an unlimited month against $19 for a verified 20GB month is a 3.6-fold premium for data you probably won't use. Unlimited earns its price here only over three to seven days of genuinely heavy use.

The network nobody will tell you

Airalo does not publish which Polish network its plans use — not here and not in any of the 94 countries we track. An earlier version of this page said it ran on Orange and T-Mobile. That was scraped out of generated prose, it was never sourced from Airalo, and it has been removed.

Saily and Nomad publish nothing either. Nor does Holafly: the Orange, T-Mobile and Play listing this page used to carry against it came from our own data rather than from Holafly's site, which names no carrier here or in any country. Do not choose a Poland eSIM on the strength of a network name — there is not one on offer.

What is worth planning around is Polish coverage generally, which is good across the cities and main roads and patchy in specific places: the Bieszczady Mountains in the remote southeast, some forested parts of the Mazury lake district, remote Beskidy trails and the more distant Kashubian highlands. No eSIM brand fixes that.

Airalo Poland versus Airalo elsewhere

One comparison that puts these prices in context: Airalo's capped Poland plans are consistently cheaper than its Finland ones — $12 against $15.50 for 10GB over 30 days, $19 against $22 for 20GB, $8.50 against $10 for 5GB. Its unlimited tiers, by contrast, are priced almost identically in both countries. Poland is simply a cheap market for data, and Airalo passes that on where it sells gigabytes but not where it sells unlimited.

The verdict

For Poland, Airalo is the default. Its prices are the ones we have actually checked, it beats every capped rival we hold, tethering is supported on its plans, and buying needs no paperwork.

Two things it doesn't give you. There are no calls or SMS — messaging runs over data, and you have no Polish number for a taxi app or a delivery driver. And if you are on an EU or EEA plan already, you should buy nothing: Poland is covered at your domestic rates. If a local number matters, a Polish prepaid SIM is about $8 at the airport, though registration requires a passport or national ID at a counter.
