eSIM Go in Canada: a two-plan shelf you cannot take anything off

The whole range, and why none of it is for sale

eSIM Go sells wholesale to resellers — travel brands, apps and MVNOs that put their own name on the eSIM — and does not retail to travellers. We checked esim-go.com on 18 August 2026: no consumer price anywhere on the site, no basket, no checkout, Contact Sales where a shop puts Buy now, and no per-country consumer pages, which return 404.

So these two figures are not quotes and cannot become quotes. They stay on the page because this site published them as buyable for months, and hiding that now would be the second mistake. Our eSIM Go platform page has the full account.

Nomad's verified $17 is the cheapest 10 GB month you can buy in Canada, and it is also below the eSIM Go row, so nothing is lost by the withdrawal. Airalo's $23 is its cheaper Canada package, Canada Mobile, against $31 for the same allowance on Canada Mobile Plus. Saily's $30.99 is worth noting because we once carried it at $19.99 — a figure nobody had checked, $11 low, and now the most expensive capped 10 GB month we hold for Canada.

At 3 GB the eSIM Go row was never competitive either: Nomad's verified 3 GB month is $8, a dollar and a half under it, and Airalo's Canada Mobile sells a verified 3 GB week for $9.

What Canada actually costs

The eSIM Go rows had no entry plan — nothing under $9.50, no 1 GB option, no short-validity block — so a traveller in Vancouver for two nights was never served by them. Saily's verified $5.29 for 1 GB over seven days, or the verified $8 Airalo's Canada Mobile charges for 3 GB over three days, both fit that trip.

There was nothing above 10 GB either. Nomad's verified 20 GB at $31 is the obvious step up and its verified 50 GB at $69 the one above that; Airalo sells a verified 20 GB month at $37 on Canada Mobile, or $48 on Canada Mobile Plus, and Saily's verified 20 GB month is $43.99.

Coverage, and the network nobody names

Nobody in this market publishes a host network. We read Airalo's, Nomad's, Saily's and Holafly's own country pages on 17 and 18 August 2026 and none of them names a carrier for any country — the operators our data once attributed to Holafly's listing were nowhere on Holafly's site. eSIM Go could not name one even if it wanted to, having no consumer page at all. An earlier version of this page named a Canadian carrier for eSIM Go and credited Rogers to Holafly's listing; both came from our own older data.

What we can say is where Canadian coverage thins out generally, and it is worth knowing before you pick any provider. Signal drops away in remote wilderness far from population centres, across the northern territories — Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut — in remote northern Quebec and Ontario, and on backcountry hiking routes in the Rocky Mountain national parks. Those gaps are a function of where Canadian towers are, not of which eSIM you bought. If your trip goes properly off-grid, no eSIM on our Canada hub solves it, and a satellite messenger is the actual answer.

Verdict

There is nothing to buy. The advice this page used to give — take the 10 GB if you have a reason to prefer eSIM Go — rested on a purchase being possible, and it is not.

Nomad's verified $17 at 10 GB and $8 at 3 GB lead Canada on prices read at source, and both undercut the eSIM Go rows in any case. Against a Canadian prepaid SIM at around $25 at an airport, with no ID needed, Nomad's month is still the cheaper option, though the local SIM gets you a phone number that no travel eSIM here provides.
