Holafly in Belgium: six uncapped plans, dearest at every length

One product, six clocks

Holafly does one thing in Belgium and does not pretend otherwise: uncapped data, sold by the day. There is no gigabyte allowance to run down and no smaller, cheaper option for a two-day stop.

Those prices were read off Holafly's own site on 18 August 2026, and those six windows are the entire range — 3, 5, 7, 10, 15 and 30 days, in Belgium and everywhere else Holafly sells.

A correction. This page previously listed five Belgian plans, including a 25-day at $68.90 and a 90-day at $99, and its verdict pointed long-stay readers at the 90-day plan as the one genuinely distinctive thing in our Belgian data. Neither plan exists. The figures were indicative rows from our own generated dataset, not prices Holafly charges, and the recommendation built on the 90-day plan has been withdrawn rather than repriced.

Holafly does not name the networks behind its Belgian plans: its own listing carries no carrier at all, and the Proximus, Orange and Base attribution our data used to hold came from our own older text rather than from Holafly. Airalo, Saily and Nomad publish nothing either, so Belgium has no network claim left in it.

The comparison that decides it

Airalo and Nomad both sell uncapped Belgian ladders, and both were read off their own sites.

Airalo is cheaper at every one of the six lengths — by $2.40 at three days, $5.50 at five, $7.50 at ten, $8.50 at fifteen. Nomad undercuts Holafly too, everywhere it sells. There is no window in Belgium where Holafly is the cheapest uncapped plan, or even the second cheapest for the first four lengths.

That is the central problem. Holafly is not offering something nobody else has; it is offering the same uncapped proposition for more money.

The tethering question

The listing we hold says Holafly's Belgian plans do not support hotspot sharing. Holafly's policy has varied by country and over time, so check it on the plan you are actually buying — but it is the right question to ask first. An uncapped plan that cannot feed a laptop loses most of the reason to buy uncapped data in the first place, and if you do need to tether you should be shopping among providers whose terms permit it.

Uncapped is the wrong shape for most Belgian trips

Belgium is compact, thoroughly covered and full of free Wi-Fi. Four days of maps, messaging, transport apps and photo uploads is a few gigabytes, not tens. The verified metered market prices that at $6 for 3GB over a week from Airalo, or $7.50 for 5GB. That is around a third of what Holafly's three-day plan costs, for data most visitors will struggle to exhaust.

Even at the heavy end the arithmetic holds. Airalo's 20GB over 30 days is a verified $20 and Nomad's is $20; Holafly's uncapped month is $73.90, three and a half times either. Airalo's 50GB month at $32.50 is still under half Holafly's price. Uncapped earns its money when you genuinely cannot predict usage — remote work, live uploads, a tethered household — and not otherwise.

Two other things worth weighing before you buy anything. If your everyday SIM is European, roam-like-at-home covers Belgium and the right purchase is none. And a Belgian prepaid SIM is around $12 at the airport, though it needs passport or ID registration at a staffed counter, which is exactly the errand an eSIM saves you. Verdict

No, at any length. Holafly's Belgian plans are beaten on price by Airalo's verified uncapped ladder at all six durations and by Nomad's at the four it sells, and they are constrained on tethering besides. For a city break a metered plan comfortably does the job for a third of the money; for a month, Airalo's $72 uncapped is $1.90 cheaper than Holafly's and its 50GB month at $32.50 is cheaper still.

The long-stay exception this page used to make was for a 90-day plan Holafly does not sell. With that gone, there is nothing left in the Belgian range that Holafly wins.
