Saily in Belgium: the lowest price, and the worst value

Cheapest to start with, mid-table to stay with

Saily sells five metered Belgian plans: 1 GB over seven days at $3.99, then 3, 5, 10 and 20 GB over 30 days at $7.99, $10.99, $16.99 and $25.99. All five were read off Saily's own site on 18 August 2026. The Airalo prices used as comparisons below were verified on that company's own site on 13 August 2026.

This page previously listed four plans at $3.99, $8.99, $12.99 and $19.99 and said Saily sold nothing above 10 GB. Three of those four prices were wrong, all of them high, and the missing 20 GB month exists. None of the old numbers had been read off Saily; they came from a generated record that gave Saily the same round figures in country after country.

The $3.99 plan is the lowest price of any Belgian eSIM we hold, and the number every comparison page quotes. It deserves a little of that attention. What it does not deserve is the assumption that a seller with the cheapest entry plan is the cheapest seller.

The per-gigabyte picture

Airalo's Belganet tier is cheaper at all three shared sizes — by $2.49 at 5 GB, $3.99 at 10 GB and $5.99 at 20 GB. Against Nomad, which was read off its own site on 17 August 2026, Saily now wins at the small end and loses at the large: cheaper at 3 GB ($7.99 against $9) and 5 GB ($10.99 against $12.50), a dollar dearer at 10 GB ($16.99 against $16), and six dollars dearer at 20 GB ($25.99 against $20).

Saily's own cheapest rate is its 20 GB month at $1.30 a gigabyte, which is the pattern everywhere we have checked it — the top of Saily's metered ladder is always its best rate. In Belgium that still leaves it well above Airalo's 50 GB at 65 cents.

Where the cheap starter genuinely earns its place is the clock. Saily's $3.99 buys a full week; Airalo's $4.00 expires after three days. For a Thursday-to-Sunday in Bruges with a day trip either side, that extra headroom is worth having, and at four dollars there is nothing to argue about.

What Saily doesn't sell here

Its metered range stops at 20 GB. If you are staying a month and using data properly — tethering, video calls, two people on one hotspot — the Belgian market runs up to a verified 50 GB at $32.50 from Airalo and $45 from Nomad, and Saily does not compete for that.

Saily does sell unlimited-data plans in Belgium, at five, seven, ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty-five and thirty days. We hold no price for any of them, so nothing on this page tells you what Saily's unlimited tier costs; read it off Saily's own site. For reference, a month of uncapped data from Airalo is a verified $72 and from Holafly a verified $73.90, and neither sells a longer window than that.

We also hold no host network for Saily in Belgium, and not because of a gap in this country's data: Saily publishes no host network anywhere, and we hold no operator against a single Saily row in any of the forty-eight countries we cover. There is no coverage argument to make in its favour or against it. The Belgian gaps that affect everyone — the Ardennes forests, the border zones towards Luxembourg and Germany, weak indoor reception among the coastal dunes at De Panne — apply here as they do to every seller. The listing we hold says hotspot sharing is supported on all Saily plans, which we have not confirmed.

Who should actually buy it

The short-break visitor, and the light user at 3 or 5 GB. Under four dollars for a week is the cheapest way into Belgian data we know of, and at 3 and 5 GB over a month Saily undercuts Nomad. Above that, Airalo's Belganet tier is cheaper at every size and by increasing margins.

Two checks before any of this matters. An EU or EEA SIM already roams in Belgium at home rates, so a large share of visitors should buy nothing at all. And a Belgian prepaid SIM costs about $12 at the airport — cheap, but it requires passport or ID registration at a staffed counter, which is the friction an eSIM removes.
