Saily in Thailand: the cheapest confirmed plan in the country

The cheapest confirmed price in Thailand

$2.99 for 1GB over 7 days. That is the lowest figure on any Thailand plan in our data, from any provider, and it is verified — read off Saily's own site on 13 August 2026 rather than carried over from anywhere else.

That matters because the earlier version of this page quoted $3.99. It was wrong, along with most of the prices around it. Saily's Thailand pricing is lower than we previously said at every size, and the corrected figures are what you see below.

Five plans. One duration above the entry tier — everything from 3GB up runs 30 days. No unlimited option and nothing above 20GB.

For most Thailand trips that is the right shape. A fortnight of maps, messaging, ride-hailing and the occasional video call sits comfortably inside 5GB, which costs $7.99 here.

A dead heat with Airalo, decided by pennies

Airalo is the only other Thailand provider whose prices we have confirmed, and in the middle of the range the two are almost indistinguishable.

A penny is not a reason to choose anything. What that convergence does tell you is that around $8 for 5GB and $11 for 10GB is the real market rate in Thailand — two independent sellers, checked the same day, landing on the same number. Any provider charging materially more than that is charging you for nothing.

Below the middle, Saily wins properly. Its $2.99 for 1GB over 7 days beats Airalo's $4.00 for 1GB over 3 days on both price and validity, and its 3GB for 30 days is a full month where Airalo's 3GB tiers expire in three or seven days.

Where the range runs out

At 20GB, Airalo is a dollar ninety-nine cheaper. Above 20GB, Saily has nothing at all: no 50GB tier, no unlimited plans. If you are staying a month and expect to lean on mobile data — tethering a laptop, streaming, working from cafés — Airalo's verified 50GB at $27.50 works out at $0.55 per gigabyte, half Saily's best rate.

Nomad's Thailand prices are verified now, and they come in lower at 10GB and above: $10 against Saily's $10.99 at 10GB, and 50GB for $12 over ten days, which is the cheapest rate on this site. An earlier version of this page called those figures indicative and one of them internally inconsistent. That was our record at fault — we had the 50GB plan down as thirty days and a 20GB plan that does not exist — not Nomad's pricing. At 1GB, 3GB and 5GB Saily is still a penny to two dollars ahead.

Hotspot tethering works across Saily's Thailand range, so sharing to a laptop is not the constraint. Capacity is.

Network, and the local alternative

Saily does not publish which Thai carrier its plans roam onto, and we hold no confirmed answer, so we will not name one. Every provider we track for Thailand is in the same position — this is a market where the network simply cannot be part of your decision.

The alternative worth weighing is a physical SIM. Thai prepaid SIMs are cheap by international standards, around $10 at the airport, with a passport needed to register. That gets you a Thai number, which is useful if you are booking transport or accommodation that expects a local contact. Saily's $2.99 or $5.99 is less money for less commitment.

Verdict

For a short or medium Thailand trip, Saily is the buy. It has the cheapest confirmed plan in the country, its whole ladder is verified, and it matches the market rate exactly where most travellers land.
