Nomad in Singapore: not a dollar off the pace, a dollar ahead of it

Eight plans, not three

This page used to say Nomad's Singapore range was three plans — 3GB, 10GB and 20GB at $8, $16 and $24 — and concluded it sat a dollar or two above the verified floor at every size. Those prices were carried in our dataset without anyone reading Nomad's checkout, and all three were too high.

There are two uncapped plans too: $18 for five days and $27 for ten.

Two of those prices are promotional. Nomad was showing the 10GB month at $14 against a list price of $16, and the 20GB month at $21 against a list price of $25. If the promotion ends, the comparisons below at those two sizes narrow — at $16 the 10GB is level with Airalo, and at $25 the 20GB falls behind it. The other four prices carry no sale marker.

Hotspot tethering works on all plans. None includes calls or SMS.

Against the field

Airalo's Singapore prices were read from its site on 13 August 2026. The Saily figures were read off Saily's own site on 18 August 2026. Holafly's were read off its own site on 18 August 2026; only the eSIM Go figures are indicative, and they are not prices anyone can pay. eSIMCard's rows have been withdrawn: we read its own pages on 18 August 2026, found the figures we held were wrong, and could not store the real ones. On current prices Nomad is the cheapest 30-day plan in Singapore at every size it sells. The 50GB row is the one that changes the country: at $31 it is 62 cents a gigabyte against Airalo's $48 and 96 cents, and it is one of the half-dozen lowest verified rates anywhere in our data.

The entry rung is the exception, and only just. Nomad's 1GB week is $4.00, level with Airalo's verified $4 for three days and a cent above Saily's verified $3.99 for a week.

What Airalo still has

Validity. Airalo sells 3-day, 7-day and 15-day versions of most sizes where Nomad sells a month: 3GB for three days at $6.50, 10GB for a week at $15, 20GB for a fortnight at $22. For a Changi stopover, paying for a month you will not use is not obviously smart, even when the month is cheaper — though at these prices it usually is.

Airalo also has the long unlimited tiers. Nomad's uncapped plans are $18 for five days and $27 for ten, both under Airalo's verified $18.50 and $34.50, but there is nothing from Nomad at fifteen or thirty days, where Airalo charges $48 and $69 and Holafly's verified month is $73.90. This page previously said Nomad sold no unlimited plan for Singapore at all; it sells two.

The network listing, withdrawn

This page used to say Nomad's Singapore listing pointed to Singtel. It does not. Nomad publishes no host network for Singapore, or for any of the 47 countries we hold its prices for, and the Singtel line came out of older generated prose rather than from Nomad.

It would not have changed anything. Singapore is the country where the host network matters least: 725 km² of continuous urban coverage with four operators competing across it. There is no rural interior, no mountain dead zone, no stretch of road where one carrier holds and another drops. Airalo, Saily, Holafly, eSIM Go and eSIMCard publish nothing either — the Singtel and StarHub listing this page used to credit to Holafly came from our own data rather than from the seller. If you want a specific network in Singapore, buy a physical SIM and choose it at the counter — no ID is required and Changi sells them in every terminal.

Verdict

Buy Nomad in Singapore. On checked prices it is the cheapest 30-day plan at every size, and its 50GB at $31 is the cheapest data on the island by a wide margin — worth taking if you are here for a month or working from a laptop.

Check the ticket price before you commit at 10GB and 20GB, because both were on promotion when we read them. At list price the 10GB ties Airalo's $16 and the 20GB loses to Airalo's $23, and in that case the short-validity Airalo plans become the better buy for a stopover.
