eSIM Go in Singapore: the wrong length, and not for sale in any case

Two rows, and nowhere to buy them

Our Singapore data holds two eSIM Go figures: 5GB for 30 days at $11, and 10GB for 30 days at $16.

Neither is a plan you can purchase. eSIM Go sells wholesale to resellers — travel brands, apps and MVNOs that put their own name on the eSIM — and does not retail to travellers. We checked esim-go.com on 18 August 2026: no consumer price anywhere on the site, no basket, no checkout, Contact Sales where a shop puts Buy now, and no per-country consumer pages, which return 404. That is why these two carry no verification date and never will — there is no published consumer price to read them against. Our eSIM Go platform page sets out the finding in full.

They were mid-table anyway

At 5GB the row was the dearest thing we hold. At 10GB it sat above Nomad's verified $14 and Saily's verified $15.99. So nothing is lost by taking it off the table.

The duration was the real issue

Singapore is a stopover country. Changi is one of the busiest transfer hubs in Asia, and a large share of visitors are on the ground for two, three or four days rather than a month. Both eSIM Go rows run the full 30 days, so a long weekend would have paid $11 for an allowance it used perhaps a fifth of.

The verified ladders are built for that trip. Airalo sells 1GB for 3 days at $4, 3GB for 3 days at $6.50 and 3GB for 7 days at $7, all verified. Saily's verified 1GB over 7 days is $3.99.

Invert the trip and a month-long allowance is precisely what you want — a work posting, a regional base, a long visit to family — and there Nomad's verified $14 for 10GB is the plan to beat.

The network claim we removed

An earlier version of this page told you eSIM Go's Singapore data runs on Singtel, and leaned on that as a reason to buy it. Nothing supports it: eSIM Go publishes nothing and has no consumer page on which it could.

Nobody in this market publishes a host network. We read Airalo's, Nomad's, Saily's and Holafly's own country pages on 17 and 18 August 2026 and none of them names a carrier for any country — the operators our data once attributed to Holafly's listing were nowhere on Holafly's site. eSIM Go could not name one even if it wanted to, having no consumer page at all. The carriers our data once carried against eSIMCard's Singapore rows came from our own generated text.

In most countries losing that information would cost you something real. In Singapore it costs close to nothing. The whole territory is 725 km² of dense urban coverage with four networks competing across it and no rural fringe where the choice starts to bite.

Against a physical SIM

A local prepaid SIM costs around $12 at Changi and needs no ID — you pay at the counter and walk away connected. Singtel, StarHub, M1 and TPG all sell one, and it comes with a Singapore mobile number, which matters if you need an SMS code from a local booking site or a call from a hotel.

Nomad's verified 5GB month at $9 undercuts it, but without the number. What an eSIM buys is a working connection the moment you switch your phone on at the gate, and no arrivals queue.

Verdict

There is nothing to buy from eSIM Go here. The rows are a record of what our dataset held, and the advice to take the 10GB for a long stay has gone with the checkout that never existed.

For a stopover, Airalo's verified short tiers from $4 are the right shape. For most of a month, Nomad's verified $14 at 10GB leads Singapore. The full spread, provider by provider, sits on our Singapore hub.
