eSIM Go in India: neither the pricing nor the network holds up

eSIM Go does not sell to travellers

Before anything else on this page: eSIM Go sells wholesale to resellers, not to the public. We opened esim-go.com on 18 August 2026 and found no consumer price anywhere on the site — no basket, no checkout, Contact Sales where a shop puts Buy now, and no per-country consumer pages, which return 404.

So there is no India plan to price, no product page for you to check, and nothing on eSIM Go's site to hold against the market below. The 34 rows we do hold for it, spread across 16 large countries, cannot be verified for the same reason: there is no published consumer price to read them against. What we can confirm

One thing: hotspot tethering is supported. That matters more in India than in some markets, because a lot of visitors are working from a laptop in a hotel with unreliable Wi-Fi. Holafly, the main unlimited option in India, does not offer tethering. eSIM Go does.

Everything else this page used to assert has been withdrawn, and there are two removals.

What we cannot: the price

We do not hold a single India plan price for eSIM Go, and we are not going to estimate one.

That is unusual enough to say plainly. For India we have current listings from eSIMCard and Holafly, and prices read from the sellers' own sites for Airalo on 13 August 2026, Saily on 16 August and Nomad on 18 August. For eSIM Go we have nothing: even the hotspot policy came from our own generated text rather than from the company. Plan structures change, and a figure we cannot stand behind is worse than no figure.

It cannot be your usual provider: it has no India page and no consumer checkout. What you should not do is assume it lands near the market, because in India the spread between the cheapest and dearest options is wide.

What we cannot: the network

This page used to open by saying eSIM Go ran on two named Indian carriers, and built a recommendation on the pairing. That came from this site’s own generated text, not from eSIM Go, which has no consumer page on which it could have named a carrier — and none of its 34 rows anywhere in our data has been verified, or can be. We have withdrawn it rather than hedged it, because a coverage argument resting on nothing is worse than no argument at all.

Nobody else fills the gap. Airalo and Saily publish no Indian host carrier, and neither does Nomad — not for India, and not for any of the 47 countries whose prices we have now read straight off its site. The carriers our data once carried against Holafly's and eSIMCard's Indian rows came from this site's generated text rather than from either seller.

What you are comparing it against

The Saily, Nomad and Airalo rows were verified at source; the Holafly rows are listings we hold rather than checkouts we watched, and eSIMCard's have been withdrawn.

Further up the ladder, Nomad's verified prices now set the floor at every size: $21 for 10 GB over 30 days against Saily's $23.99 and Airalo's $24, and $33 for 20 GB against Airalo's $38. Its 50 GB month at $43 works out at 86 cents a gigabyte, the cheapest data we hold for India by a wide margin.

Those are the numbers to hold eSIM Go's India pricing against when you look it up.

The network is not the deciding factor here anyway

It is tempting to choose an India eSIM on network access, and in most countries that would be sound. Here it is not available as a decision.

The three providers whose prices we have checked at source — Airalo, Saily and Nomad — name no carrier at all, and the two listings that do name carriers are unverified. India 4G averages 14 to 17 Mbps whichever network you land on, which is slower than regional peers; the ceiling is set by the country, not by your provider.

The gaps are also shared. Rural Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh above roughly 3,000 m, the higher passes on the Leh–Manali highway, the remote Andaman and Nicobar islands and parts of the Northeast including Nagaland and Mizoram are thin or empty on every network. If the carrier genuinely matters for your route, the only way to choose one is an Indian prepaid SIM — around $7, passport required.

Our honest position

We cannot recommend or rule out eSIM Go in India, because we have no price for it and nothing on its network. What we can say is that hotspot support is a real advantage over Holafly, and that any recommendation rests entirely on a figure you will have to check yourself.
