The Holafly app: what it does and how Holafly login works

The Holafly app lets you buy, install, track and top up eSIMs without the website. Holafly login uses the email from your purchase and a code it sends you.

What does the Holafly app do?

The Holafly app is Holafly's iPhone and Android app for buying and managing its eSIMs. According to Holafly's announcement, you can search about 170 locations, pick a plan, pay, and then follow setup and activation guides without going back to the website. Plans and prices in the app match the website's unlimited packages. You can browse and buy as a guest or while logged in.

Holafly login: how it works

Holafly login uses the email address from your original eSIM purchase. The app sends a verification code to that email and you type it in. Holafly says email, Apple and Google sign-in are all supported. If you use Apple, the Apple ID has to be linked to the account used for the purchase.

If you mistype the code, Holafly says you will have to restart registration. If the code does not arrive, check your spam folder, request it again, or write to help@holafly.com. Holafly's contact page gives help@holafly.com as the support address but links its email button to hello@holafly.com, so if one bounces, try the other or use chat.

What you can do after you log in

From Holafly's description of the app:

  • follow setup and activation guides, including video walkthroughs;
  • see active and expired eSIMs;
  • check data use and the activation and expiry dates;
  • open troubleshooting guides and a list of compatible phones;
  • reach your profile and payment details;
  • contact support 24/7, or send feedback.

Holafly's help centre also says you can monitor data and remaining days in the app or on the website, and that unlimited plans show days remaining rather than gigabytes.

Install the eSIM from the Holafly app

Holafly says iPhone users on iOS 17.4 or later get automatic installation. You pick the plan, choose automatic installation, and tap the install-and-activate button. The eSIM then appears in the phone's cellular settings, with no QR code needed. Holafly's own timing advice still applies, so install a day or so before you fly and read our guide on how to activate Holafly eSIM for the switching-on step.

Holafly's iPhone instructions page does not describe installing through the app; it only links to the app in the App Store and Google Play. For the general process, see how Holafly works.

Buying in the app

Payment options Holafly lists are Apple Pay and credit or debit cards. You can switch currency between US dollars and euros. The app is available in six languages. Some plans include international calling, you can buy more than one eSIM at a time, and there is no cart yet. We have not tested any of this ourselves.

The app and the Holafly Plans phone number

For Holafly's monthly and annual Unlimited Plans, the app is also where the number is set up. Holafly says to open Plans and find the phone number section. We explain what that number can and cannot do on Holafly phone number.

What we could not confirm

We have not run the Holafly app, so we cannot say how smooth login or installation is. Holafly's announcement was the source for most of the above, and it is a news post rather than a live manual. The app store listings may show newer features. Holafly's pages do not say whether you can log in with an order number instead of an email. If login is the problem, see Holafly support, and our Holafly hub has pricing and the wider picture. Compare other providers on cheapest eSIM.

We have not tested Holafly's plans, app or support ourselves. This page is desk research from Holafly's own site and help centre, read on 8 October 2026, and Holafly changes its rules from time to time.

Common questions

Is there a Holafly app?

Yes. Holafly says its app is available for iPhone and Android, on the App Store and Google Play, for buying, activating, managing and monitoring eSIMs. You can browse and buy as a guest or while logged in, and the plans and prices match the website's unlimited packages.

How does Holafly login work?

You log in with the email address from your original eSIM purchase. The app sends a verification code to that email and you type it in. Holafly says email, Apple and Google sign-in are all supported, and an Apple ID must be linked to the account used for the purchase.

Can I install a Holafly eSIM without a QR code?

On an iPhone with iOS 17.4 or later, Holafly says the Holafly app can install and activate the eSIM automatically: pick the plan, choose automatic installation and tap the install button. For other phones, the Holafly pages we read do not describe a no-QR option.

What if my Holafly login code does not arrive?

Holafly suggests checking your spam folder, requesting the code again, or writing to help@holafly.com. Its contact page also links an email button to hello@holafly.com, so if one address bounces, try the other or use chat. If you mistype the code, Holafly says you must restart registration.

Can I check my data in the Holafly app?

Yes. Holafly says you can see data use plus activation and expiry dates in the app or on the website. Holafly also says unlimited plans show the days remaining rather than gigabytes, since there is no data allowance to count down. Check the days left before assuming the eSIM has failed.
