Telekom Slovenije Slovenia SIM card: the Mobi prepaid plans, with prices
Telekom Slovenije's English site lists its Mobi prepaid plans with prices, shops and an eSIM sold through an app. We read it on 8 October 2026.
Is a Telekom Slovenije SIM card a good choice for a visitor?
It is a strong candidate, partly because the company has an English-language prepaid page with prices, and partly because it says customer care is available in English. A Telekom Slovenije SIM card (Mobi) suits a stay of a couple of weeks or more. For a weekend, the plans are monthly, so a travel eSIM may cost less.
What are the Mobi prepaid plans?
From Telekom Slovenije's Mobi page, read 8 October 2026, prices in euros with VAT:
| Plan | Price | What it includes |
|---|---|---|
| Mobi A | 4.99 a month | 1 GB in Slovenia, calls and SMS in Slovenia and EU/EEA |
| Mobi B | 9.99 a month | 100 GB in Slovenia, up to 14.89 GB in the EU/EEA |
| Mobi C | 13.99 a month | Unlimited data in Slovenia (speed drops after 200 GB), up to 20.85 GB in the EU/EEA |
| Mobi Net Mesec | 9.99 for one month | 100 GB data only |
| Mobi Net | 29.99 for 365 days | 100 GB data only |
To use plan units in the EU you must register in the Moj Mobi app. With no active plan, calls, texts and data are charged at 0.12 euro per minute, message or MB. An empty Mobi account stays reachable for calls and texts for 90 days after the last top-up.
Where do you get a Mobi SIM or eSIM?
Telekom Slovenije says the Moj Mobi app, available in seven languages, lets you buy an eSIM, top up and buy plans. Physical Mobi SIMs and top-up cards are sold at its points of sale, Petrol stations, 3DVA kiosks, and Mercator and SPAR shops. The page does not say what ID, if any, is needed, and it states the number can stay unlisted from the directory. Ask when you buy.
What does Telekom Slovenije say about coverage?
It claims the highest network reliability and best coverage compared with other local operators, and that LTE and 5G are available on prepaid. These are company claims, with no figure on the page, so we have not verified them.
Telekom Slovenije SIM card or a travel eSIM?
With a Mobi eSIM you buy through an app, but you need to be online first. A travel eSIM is bought at home. Compare in our Slovenia SIM comparison. Other operators: A1 Slovenija and Telemach.

Can I use a Mobi plan in the EU?
Yes, within limits. The listed plans include calls and messages in Slovenia and the EU/EEA, with EU data capped, for example up to 14.89 GB on Mobi B. Telekom Slovenije says you must register in the Moj Mobi app first to use plan units abroad.

Is Telekom Slovenije better than A1 or Telemach?
Telekom Slovenije claims the best coverage among local operators, but gives no figure we could verify. A1 and Telemach publish their own coverage claims. Compare the packs, prices and days you need on the Slovenia comparison page rather than relying on a company claim.
