eSIM Go in the Philippines: nothing confirmed, because nothing is on sale

eSIM Go does not sell to travellers

Before anything else on this page: eSIM Go sells wholesale to resellers, not to the public. We opened esim-go.com on 18 August 2026 and found no consumer price anywhere on the site — no basket, no checkout, Contact Sales where a shop puts Buy now, and no per-country consumer pages, which return 404.

So there is no Philippine plan to price, no product page for you to check, and nothing on eSIM Go's site to hold against the market below. The 34 rows we do hold for it, spread across 16 large countries, cannot be verified for the same reason: there is no published consumer price to read them against. Confirmed

One thing: hotspot tethering is supported. That is not universal — Holafly's unlimited plans, the other name people consider for the Philippines, have no hotspot at all — so it is a real point of difference, and it is the only one left standing.

Not confirmed: the price

We do not hold verified pricing for eSIM Go in the Philippines. Our plan sheet for this country covers eSIMCard, Saily, Airalo, Nomad and Holafly, and eSIM Go is not on it. There is no eSIM Go product page and no current number.

We are saying this plainly because the alternative is worse. Pages that quote a stale price for a plan structure that has since changed are the reason travellers arrive with the wrong expectation. If we cannot verify it, you get the gap instead of a guess.

Not confirmed: the network

This page used to say eSIM Go's Philippine product carried both national networks, and made that the argument for buying it. It was an unverified scrape rather than anything eSIM Go published, and eSIM Go has no verified rows anywhere in our data. It has been withdrawn.

That leaves nothing to choose on. Airalo, Saily and Nomad all publish no Philippine host carrier — Nomad publishes none for any of the 47 countries whose prices we have now read directly off its site — and the carriers our data once carried against Holafly's and eSIMCard's rows came from this site's generated text rather than from either seller.

Which network you would want, if you could pick

You cannot pick, but it is worth knowing what is at stake. Average speed is 30 Mbps, with 4G downloads generally reported in the 23–36 Mbps range, so nobody is buying on raw performance.

Smart is the network to want. It leads on 5G deployment across Metro Manila, Cebu, Davao and Boracay, holds signal across Boracay, Palawan and Siargao, and has the better inter-island reach. Globe is strong in Metro Manila and Cebu and improving outside them. The only purchase that guarantees you either is a local prepaid SIM, around $5 with a passport at the counter.

The places where neither helps are worth planning around: remote islands such as Batanes, the Camiguin hinterlands and the lesser-visited Visayas islands; the open water between island-hopping stops, including Big Lagoon and Kayangan Lake; the interior jungles of Palawan and Mindanao; and the smaller Siargao islands beyond General Luna. The prices you can check

Use these as the bar eSIM Go has to clear. Airalo's rows were verified on 13 August 2026 and Nomad's on 18 August; the others are indicative.

The number that matters is 90 cents a gigabyte, on Nomad's verified 50GB month — the cheapest data we hold for the country, just under Airalo's 96 cents at the same size. At the mid sizes the floor is Nomad again, at $1.70 a gigabyte for 10GB. Anything much above that in the Philippines is paying for something other than data.

Verdict

The one thing this page used to like about eSIM Go's Philippine setup was tethering, and that came from our own generated text. There is nothing to recommend it on, because value is the whole argument in a country this cheap and we cannot price it, and because the coverage case this page used to make had nothing under it.
