eSIM Go in the USA: two plans, and no way to buy either

Start with what eSIM Go is

It is not a shop. eSIM Go sells wholesale to resellers — travel brands and apps that put their own name on an eSIM — and it does not retail to travellers. We looked on 18 August 2026: there is no consumer price anywhere on esim-go.com, no basket and no checkout. The button where a shop puts Buy now says Contact Sales, and the per-country consumer pages a retailer would have do not exist, returning 404.

That single fact settles this page. The two US figures below cannot be verified, not because we have not got round to it, but because there is no price published to check them against. The full account is on our eSIM Go platform page.

The two rows we hold

• 3GB over 30 days — $8.50
• 10GB over 30 days — $17.00

Nothing below 3GB, nothing above 10GB, no unlimited option and one duration. Both figures sit in our dataset as a record of what this site used to publish; neither is a quote.

They are also the clearest example of why the old data cannot be trusted. That $17 for 10GB is not a US price — it is the same $17 our rows carry for Australia, France, Italy, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, Spain and Thailand. Nine countries, four continents, identical to the cent. The $8.50 for 3GB repeats in five. Real pricing does not do that.

The ranking we have withdrawn

This page used to put eSIM Go at the top of a 10GB table, five and a half dollars under the cheapest confirmed rival, and tell you to open its product page and check.

Both parts are gone. There is no product page to open. And the comparison itself was invalid rather than close: it set a wholesale rate card against retail checkouts and called the wholesale side cheapest, which recommends a purchase no reader could complete.

What 10GB actually costs in the United States

Airalo's verified $22.50 is the cheapest 10GB month you can currently buy with a confirmed price behind it. eSIMCard is a different case from eSIM Go: esimcard.com is a working storefront with a checkout, so its prices are ones a traveller can pay. Ours for it were wrong, and all 78 rows were withdrawn on 18 August 2026 once we read its site.

The rest of the US market, verified

At 3GB, Saily's verified $8.99 is the sensible month-long buy. Airalo's verified 3GB plans run $8.50 for three days and $9 for seven — the same money over shorter windows. For real volume, Airalo's verified 50GB at $42 works out at 84 cents a gigabyte, better than anything smaller, and Nomad sells verified long-stay blocks of 75GB over 180 days at $89 and 100GB over a year at $120.

The network question

eSIM Go publishes no host network for the United States, and has no consumer page on which it could. An earlier version of this page named a US carrier for it; that came from our own generated text and has gone.

Nor does anyone else. We read Airalo's, Nomad's, Saily's and Holafly's own country pages on 17 and 18 August 2026 and none of them names a carrier for any country. So US travel eSIMs cannot be compared on coverage at all — only on price, plan shape and what happens when something goes wrong.

The local option

For a long US-only trip, do not skip the counter. A prepaid American SIM is around $20 at an airport and needs no identification, which is unusual enough to be worth the detour, and it comes with a US number that no travel eSIM here provides.

Verdict

There is nothing to buy from eSIM Go, in the United States or anywhere else. The two figures on this page record what our dataset held, and the ranking that once made them the cheapest US option has been withdrawn because one side of it was never on sale.
