Holafly's Australia eSIM: we have withdrawn every price on this page

Why there is no price table here

Holafly's Australia product is unlimited data at every duration. This page used to list four prices for it — one day at $6.90, seven days at $22.90, fifteen at $39.90 and thirty at $59.90 — and built a comparison table on them showing Holafly undercutting Airalo by $3.60 to $6.60.

We have withdrawn all of it. Those figures came from the generated corpus this site was originally built from, not from Holafly. On 18 August 2026 we read Holafly's own site in a browser and recorded verified prices for 44 countries; Australia was not one of them, so we have nothing to replace the old numbers with.

That matters because of what the read found everywhere else. In all 44 countries, the corpus prices were wrong, and wrong in Holafly's favour: its Danish month was $14 under the real price, its New Zealand month $26.90 under, its South African month $37 under. Once the real figures were in, Holafly turned out to be the most expensive uncapped seller in the great majority of markets rather than the cheapest. Reprinting an unread Australian ladder that showed it winning would be repeating exactly that error.

Two structural facts we can state, because they hold in every country Holafly sells:

• It sells six durations and no others — 3, 5, 7, 10, 15 and 30 days. The one-day Australian plan this page described does not exist.
• Every plan is unlimited. There is no gigabyte ladder, so Holafly cannot appear in a cost-per-gigabyte ranking at all.

What the alternatives actually cost

Airalo and Nomad both sell unlimited Australian data, and both ladders were read off their own sites.

Those are the numbers to hold a Holafly quote against. In the 44 countries we have checked, Holafly's uncapped prices came in above Airalo's at almost every window.

And both should be checked against fixed data, which is where the real saving sits. Airalo's verified 10GB for 30 days is $18, Nomad's is $15 and Saily's is $17.99; Nomad's verified 50GB month is $32 and Airalo's $45. Unless you stream every evening, 10GB covers a fortnight of maps, messaging and photos with room to spare.

The network you get, and why we can't name it

Holafly does not publish which Australian network its eSIM attaches to, and neither does any other travel eSIM provider in our Australia data. We are not going to guess at it. Practically, that means you cannot buy this plan for a particular network's coverage, because you will not know which network you have until the phone attaches to it.

That matters more in Australia than in most places. Telstra is the only carrier with meaningful remote coverage — the outback, Cape York, the Kimberley, the far north Queensland interior and the emptier stretches of the Nullarbor are Telstra-or-nothing. In the cities and along the tourist corridors the distinction largely stops mattering: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Cairns and the east coast generally are well served by all three national networks, and the national average sits around 55 Mbps.

So Holafly cannot sell you Telstra, and nor can any of its rivals here — none of them will even name the network. If your itinerary leaves the coast, the answer is a local Telstra or Boost prepaid SIM, which needs no ID in Australia and costs around $18 at the airport.

No hotspot is the real limit

Unlimited data has an obvious appeal for people who work while they travel. That is also exactly the group Holafly's tethering restriction excludes.

If you need to put a laptop online, this plan will not do it, and no amount of unlimited data changes that. Check the tethering terms on whatever you buy instead — it is not a small print detail, it is the single most common reason people ask for a refund on an unlimited eSIM.

Who should buy it

If you are staying in the cities, using your phone hard and never tethering, unlimited data is a reasonable thing to want. Just do not buy it on the strength of a price from us: get Holafly's own figure, set it beside Airalo's $18.50 for five uncapped days or Nomad's $29 for ten, and decide from there.

Look elsewhere if you are heading inland or remote, if a laptop needs the connection, or if your usage is ordinary. On ordinary usage a fixed-data plan is a third of the price of any uncapped month here.
