Airalo has no promo code — here is what it actually offers

There is no Airalo promo code

Airalo does not publish one. Not on the homepage, not on a plan page, not in the footer, not at the checkout. We looked on 17 August 2026 and there was no discount, no sale and no promotional banner anywhere on airalo.com.

So this page prints no code, and it will not print one borrowed from somewhere else either. Every list of Airalo codes we have seen is doing one of three things: quoting a campaign that ended, describing a referral link as though it were a code, or inventing a string that looks plausible. If you have already pasted three of them into a checkout and watched all three bounce, that was not your mistake.

What Airalo does run is a referral programme. What actually saves you money is something else entirely — the rung of the price ladder you buy on. Both are below, with numbers.

The referral programme, exactly as it reads

At airalo.com/refer-and-earn, read the same day: a friend who buys through your referral gets CAD $4.50 off their purchase, and you get CAD $4.50 in Airmoney, Airalo's own store credit.

Two things matter about that.

It is a link, not a code. It is generated inside an existing Airalo account and it works by being clicked. There is no string to type into a promo box, which is the structural reason no list of codes can ever hold a working Airalo one.

The currency is whatever your location shows. We read that page from Toronto and it rendered in Canadian dollars. We are quoting what we saw rather than converting it, because a converted figure is a number nobody actually read.

Set the ceiling in your head, then. The best case is a one-off credit worth roughly one small plan, and only if somebody who already owns an account sends you their link first.

What actually costs you money is buying the wrong rung

We hold 1,686 Airalo prices across all 94 countries on this site, every one of them read off Airalo's own checkout in USD with no code applied. Two numbers out of that dataset are worth more to you than any coupon.

Fifty-six of the 90 countries that sell a 1 GB, 3-day Airalo plan price it at exactly $4.00. A separate 56 countries sell a 50 GB plan over 30 days, and 18 of those price it at exactly $49 — $0.98 a gigabyte. Sixteen countries carry both prices at once, which is where the gap is easiest to see.

Sixteen countries do both at once: Colombia, Iceland, New Zealand, Serbia, South Africa, South Korea, Vietnam, China, Hong Kong, Estonia, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Mongolia, Cambodia and Macau. In each of them the bottom rung of the ladder costs $4.00 a gigabyte and the top rung costs $0.98. Same seller, same country, same day, four times the rate.

What one rung is worth, in dollars

Three real gaps, all from verified rows:

• Vietnam. The 1 GB plan is $4.00 and the 5 GB plan over 7 days is $10.00. Buy the small one five times and you have paid twice as much for the same data, in a worse shape, with four expiry dates to worry about.
• Colombia. 20 GB over 15 days is $40 and 50 GB over 30 days is $49. Nine dollars adds 30 gigabytes and doubles the window.
• Iceland. 5 GB over 7 days is $11 and 10 GB over 7 days is $18.50. The second block of five gigabytes costs less than the first: $2.20 a gigabyte becomes $1.85.

Every one of those gaps is larger than CAD $4.50. More to the point, you get it on every purchase you ever make, rather than once, and you do not need anyone else's account to claim it.

The bigger lever is which country you are standing in

Same seller, same plan, same month: 50 GB over 30 days is $27.50 in Thailand and $49 in Colombia. That is a 78% difference on an identical product, and no code closes it.

Which also means the advice "just buy the big plan" is not universal. Thirty-eight of the 94 countries have no 50 GB plan at all. Thirty-three of those stop at 20 GB — Japan, India, Nepal, the Maldives, Egypt, Morocco and Brazil among them — three stop at 10 GB, and Lebanon holds nothing above 1 GB. Where the ladder is short, the advice to climb it has nowhere to go, and the useful question becomes which duration you need rather than which size.

Do this instead of hunting a code
